Just like SAPPHIRE in the previous news story, PowerColor has launched an AGP version of the Radeon HD 3850 graphics card, continuing its support for the industry's old standard. The card is listed as featuring 512MB of 256-bit GDDR3 memory running at 828MHz (1656MHz DDR), with a core clock speed of 668MHz. As with all other HD 3850 cards, it supports DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1, and should be available immediately.

That looks like a very nice cooler on that one. The fan on the other hand could be much better.

ha ha LONG LIVE AGP. I thought of building a Crossfire setup 4th quater this year. Now I can still use 3800 series in a AGP. hmm should I change?

Wow. I never thought AGP would go this far. Quite surprising that DX10 made it to AGP. Good job.

Why you all surprised I remember seeing a Ati roadmap a few years ago showing AGP going to Dx 10.

Finally a manufacturer makes an AGP card that uses a PCI-E six pin power connector.... HOORAY! I honestly hate using molexes on AGP cards, its such a pain in the backside... EDIT: What the hell... the AGP is cooled better than the PCI-E... with that heatspreader.

I've got one question only:

Where the hell can I get this card?

"should be available immediately" my ass... been looking everywhere for it, and so far no cigar, another paper launch??... really need this card ASAP :rockout::rockout:

Almost a week after the announcement and still neither powercolor nor sapphire agp 3850 cards are nowhere to be found.

Please tell me you can find this card somewhere, for I would really hate this being a paper launch.... Please tell you can really get this card somewhere...

Still no where to be found. Where the heck is it!

Yea this is old news where is it..

Not that "old" if you ask me again. Just had a 30min search for these cards, and there's still not even one in store yet.
