Right now my sweet spot seems to be +160 on the core clock and +515 on the memory clock. This gives me an average frame rate of 139 FPS.

Anything higher than the numbers that I have and my frame rates actually decrease. I'm thinking that I might try unlocking the voltage control in the settings and see if I can squeeze out a little bit more performance from the card.

I can only get +130 on my card

btw i tried the voltage control, it made literally 0% difference in my case

Ok so what the hell...

newest driver, lower score, max 82C

older driver, higher score, max 66C!

Edit: After another benchmark, temps are the same again - 82C

Right now I'm downloading driver versions 442.74, 445.87 and 446.14. I'll try them and let you know what I get.

Whats weird, i get a worse score in 3DMark, 7980 vs 8050, not much, but confusing because the other benchmark begs to differ...

With the older driver* 442.74

I decided to ignore benchmark results and focus on FPS's. To me, that's more of a "real world" test.

Good call, let me run gta benchmark again

Notice the Run Benchmark Tests option, do you not have that?

Still getting over double FPS than MSI!

Another update

my idle temps have tanked with the old driver

33C vs 41C

Probably because this driver allows the GPU to sit at 300MHz base instead of 1365MHz

Bit of an update

No crashes to report of while benchmarking with the iGame BIOS, however ive only just had the time today for a gaming session, and is incredibly unstable, even after pulling power rating back to 100% and my OC down too.

I have decided to flash the EVGA BIOS at the moment to see if it makes a difference.

I’ll update when i find out more

Hi, just to make you aware I have found a better VBIOS for the PG161 cards

1830Mhz Boost
190W Target / 215W Limit (Compared to stock 160W T/L)

And, all 4 ports work on this BIOS

Managed to get further O/C Stable, the issues I were having before were CPU O/C related

MSI Afterburner Settings on my Ventus 2060

113% Power (Max)
+95Mhz Core Clock
+990Mhz Memory Frequency

VGA Bios Collection: MSI RTX 2060 6 GB | TechPowerUp

I have a problem, this card does not accepy ANY other bios with PG161 SKU 42 ID
I've tried many of bioses mentioned here and other from techpowerup database, off coure PG and SKU matched... issues is that after flash card only run without drivers... no screen with drivers.. I tried DDU and no luck...

Any ideas? I want to change the bios because TDP limiter set to 160W...

fun fact, its not even accepting this bios

Forgive me if I'm wrong but Nvidia sells two variants of its chips right? One that max goes upto 100% for base versions and another that goes 100%+ for OC version cards. Or did I imagine that and it's just soft bios lock?
