The Radeon HD 7950 is the next card in the 7000-series to be released by AMD, and today we get a sneak-peak at performance figures as well as a comparison to various other cards benchmarked in the same system powered by an Intel Core i5-2500K processor...

I haven't seen it posted here before, if it's a duplicate please delete.

It gets a little less points than my overclocked 6970, and when it is overclocked it gets over P7000. If the price will be right it might be just the card to get. And if it unlocks to a 7970, even better.

Sadly, while you can flash it with the HD 7970 BIOS it doesn't unlock anything. It's not like the Radeon HD 6950 in that respect.

How do you know? Have you tested it? Maybe someone(w1zzard?) will figure out a way to unlock the shaders.

Unfortunately I'm not at liberty to reveal that at the moment, but you're welcome to wait for another source if you remain skeptical - I don't take it personally :)

It wasnt meant to be personal, just asking. :)

So you think there is no possibility to unlock it, in the future maybe?

AMD getting happy with their little lasers again?

I'm honestly not sure, it would be great if it happens in the future but I would say don't bank on it happening.
