Radeon RX 6900 XT Overclocked to 3321MHz, Breaks FireStrike World Record

My Powercolor 6900 XTXH clocks at 2850 MHz with auto over clock. This card is a beast, and faster than my PNY 3090 that I swapped for the XTXH.

No one is forcing you to read or comment, you know. I find it interesting that such a large chip can be pushed to over 3 GHz, it was only 10 years ago that hitting a third of that number was an amazing feat, and that wasnt on a chip this large.
Sorry who are you? Did I point my comment at you? I'll comment how I like, where I like.

Well @Minus Infinity has a point, the RX 6900XT clocks with conventional cooling are much more interesting.
That's what I mean, if this was 3GHz on air, something we could actually achieve in our own PC, then yes I would take notice.

Probably won't take long if it's my wild guess. The first GHz took ages to reach (GTX 680/HD 7970 GHz ed.) but after all, the speeds have increased pretty rapidly from there.

But performance increase are not linear with the massive increase of clock. And eventually we will hit the same problem that always associated with high frequency: heat.

Is any actually impressed or gives a damn about these sorts of efforts that have ZERO applicability to real world use?
Obviously yes or these record boards would not exist.

Thats awesome, I'm trying to get a Liquid Devil Ultimate, but these things sell too fast!
Might get some ice to sit on top of the radiator to see if I can break the 3Ghz. :)
