Radiator position idea

I put 2 mora like this and the water temp does not go up when I stress test the system

But when I put it on the case and against the wall,the temp will go up. I put some fans behind my monitor to blow air to the rad and fans behind the rad to blow hot air up but does not work. Any suggetion?

Wall is limiting the air on one side and desk... is limiting it on the other side.

Tilt the case a little bit and the result is good now. 23c ambient 25c water temp at idle and 26c water temp at 1000w load.

Oh yeah you can... your fridge runs 24/7 for years, same tech. Not the quietest thing in the world, but not annoying either.

the fans directly behind the monitor is pulling the hot air created by the monitor and pushing it thru the rad, on top of being to close to the wall.

Not exactly the same... Refrigerator compressors dont work 24/7 for years.
Tech... yes, its identical. But on refrigerator once it hits the temp target its compressor will only work shortly a few times throughout the day/night to maintain temp. There is no constant large heat addition to the refrigarator, unless you open door, you put something hot inside, or whatever heat infiltrates its insulation.

Right, sure - there was a bit of hyperbole there but not much -- they are power efficient that way, as it makes no sense to run 24/7 if not needed, but the good refrigerators are designed for 'worst-case' and can run constantly...

Expected life of a fridge is 10-15 years or so, but regardless, the point is if the condenser/compressor is designed and well built for the load it is cooling, then it will be fine for 24/7 use. These systems will outlast a conventional water loop quite easily. When they do start dying they tend to pull tons of juice and start flipping breakers though, so maybe a wattage monitor isn't a bad idea.

I planned to go with a chiller first but heard its noisy and it does not cool down 1000w load instantly so I went with the mora.

I didn't do any Mod, the water can be cooled up to 0c and modded up to -3c , however considering that CPU + GPU while running are always adding heat to the water in summer the water can we cooled to 10c and of course in winter in can go lower ( 0c )

i never had issues with Condensation ( Dew Point Thermometer ) 5c above ambient temp and there is no risk of condensation

but heard its noisy

My wasn't noisy at all + it is not like you will have on 24/7

let's say that ambient temp is 20c you can cool the water up 22c but because i dont like to risk i added 3c more so instead 22c i run it at 25c

This is what i did, put a Dew Point Thermometer and cooled the water 5c above the temp inside the case, never had any issues

Well my 2 mora can cool 1kw at 26c water temp and ambient is 23c. Look like the chiller needs to do under ambient temp to be worth for my usage.

How many fans are you running?

4 on each mora. And 3 on 3 360 inside my case. I know a set up with a Gigan 3360 + 3 360 has a 0.5c delta at full load.

See, with the Chiller all i needed was a single rad and without turning it on my temps were a few degrees above ambient, the Chiller has it's own Reservoir which can hold enough water to flow through the loop and all that water before it warms up it takes time.

Then, what is the point for measuring dew point?

If, let’s say, room(ambient) temp is 20C and relative humidity (RH) is 50% then the dew point is around 8~9C. So you can safely cool water loop to 11~13C (dew point + 3~4C). That is with nominal sea level atm pressure.



Only when Rel. humidity (RH) is 100% you can’t go below ambient temp.
