Sell that so its someone else's problem and start a new build. Some boards are just fubar

If I buy a board and it temperamental with memory, I get rid of it. With bend pens its gets sold non working. Even if it posts. You should have said it had bent pens in the beginning

I didnt know, i just did a good inspection on it yesterday, got a few bent pins, so i straitened them up and again it showed 4GB in reserved.
Ill try this evening if it posts just with 1 stick of ram on slot with broken clip to see if it posts good.
I am confused as to why all 8GB are registered on the mobo and aida and cpuid but i get hardware reserved 4GB.
Also to note, yesterday i encountered 2 posts with 1GB Reserved, then next restart was again 4GB Reserved.
If later, i get no post, or again half reserved ram with 1 stick or broken slot, then i will have to again inspect the slot and check it whole for bent pins.

Always inspect your motherboards period, I do the same for CPUs too. Don't buy another junk board again! :slap:

There is a pin or pins that are still out of alignment...it might be very hard to discern the one that comes out of alignment when they're squashed down. Keep us posted on your next attempt. Also curious to see what results you get with different RAM...but again as I said before with the issue you're having, when I've seen it...it's always been bent pins.

Just took me 3 hours to check everything up and inspect the socket again.
From those 3 hours, it took me 1,5 hours to get the socket in decent shape, to put everything back together, and VOILA.
Running Dual Channel on 1600MHZ, with 3.2GHZ CPU Clock and a BIG HAPPY SMILE ON MY FACE.
Tnx to all you guys for all support and help you did across this thread.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
So...how did the pins get bent in the first place?? Your first post says you messed with timings and started having issues...

I thought so until i set it to Optimised Defaults and the problem remained, then i got some stability issues like not booting up regularly, and after 2 days of research on the Web, i came to a conclution it was the socket ( bent pins).

Yea. That CPU was not taken out of its socket for like 2-3 years, and it had some dust, fiber and thermal paste inside of it.
Idk how that got in but, there it was.
