Which set of switches does it use? Cherry MX Blacks or MX Browns? I read that whole post and then went to the link and nothing no mention of which keys it uses!

Im not a fan at all of the original Blackwidow, Cherry MX Blues are less than ideal for gaming and the construction was less than i expected im keen to see if this is the same with new keys.

I still hate the glossy body on these. They are literally impossible to keep looking good. If they release a flat black version with Browns, that would be a near-ideal keyboard for the gamer/typist.

They come in matte black not the glossy finish

this is not old news, they are different. the old blackwidow/blackwidow ultimate uses mx blue, i'm pretty sure these stealth editions use mx browns. because mx browns are much quieter than mx blues

Yup. Browns require ever so slightly less force to push down, too (blues are 50g actuation force).

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth

I just pulled the trigger on this to replace my aging Saitek Eclipse. I did a lot of research and as this is going to be my 1st mechanical keyboard. I was trying to find a MX Red keyboard that was backlit and that led to an exhaustive, fruitless search

This keyboard has a good look to it. It appears to use MX Brown switches that require 45g actuation force, has a nice gaming mode to disable the windows key and 5 different levels of brightness for the LED
