How about not pretending that slow charging is a con?
Hi,
Really what happened to changing over night when not in use, seems people should just get a corded device if they can't figure out wireless devices run on batteries

Slow charging is also better for the batteries.

Yup.

Was using an ASUS C7H (X470) that I swapped for a Gigabyte X570S. AI Suite 3 failed to uninstall with some sort of error message about service not found... I had to manually unregister the AI Suite services, then reboot and delete the install directory to get rid of it.

I understand that making simple and functional software is low on the list for hardware companies like motherboard manufacturers, but you'd at least hope one day they'll figure out that if you get chimps to write your software, you get software for chimps. Sadly that day hasn't come yet.
When I still used that AI crap, every once in a while it decided to… simply not work anymore and throw errors at every startup. Not even the asus uninstalled worked. I had to manually remove any single asus file in existance, reboot and reinstall it.
Some time ago I fully removed it and installed FanControl for controlling my rig’s fans, as it was AI suite’s only use for me.

Too light and Razer for me.
Short version:
I used to be a Razer exclusive user since the CopperHead and when the DeathAdder launched i went DA exclusive up until mid to late 2019.
Not anymore.
To me they're overrated and overpriced junk and that cancer called synapse is the cherry on top; even if razer built the best and most reliable mice i still wouldn't buy those because of synapse.
I also don't buy corsair and others anymore because of their cancer software...
MSI just squeezed through because they genuinely improved the pos that used to be the dragon center; i originally was going to get an EVGA mobo...

How is 2022 and Synapse still sucks?

Razer should redesign from scratch, has been 8 years and nothing has changed

I won't use Razer because of this crap.
They've redesigned from scratch 3 times. It's still meh at best though.

Razer these days is sort of like that; an expensive meh.

Well, razer is building good peripherals nowadays, but the software. Mama mia.
I believe that they are good, but the "meh" from me comes mainly from their pricing (and the software, ofc) It can both be good build quality, and way too expensive for what it is.

Completely agree with you on the pricing front. But Razer isn't the only one who is guilty of this, and now even some of the lesser known smaller brands are doing it too, like G-WOLVES for example. Their Hati HSK, this tiny little thing, sells for $120 USD, which to me is crazy for a mouse so tiny. And their HTS Plus 4K is currently going for a whopping $180 (sold directly by G-Wolves) on Amazon right now :kookoo:

I guess they don't want to be a cheap brand. You can find their mices for 50-60USD, but some companies are charing 99USD for a mice.

Look at Finalmouse Starlight Pro, $190.

Like I said: if they can move it at that price that'e fair and I'd do it too. Seems silly price wise for me as a consumer and as such I won't be a buyer but I'm not everyone.

Oh no no no no!
I know what you mean, i had a few "IntelliMice" in my day but i'm done with M$ aswell; i buy Redragon now, their products are amazing for the price
and not too far behind in performance compared to the big ones.
Although to be fair M$ is much better at building mice than OSs......

I've been using a Cougar Revenger 'S' and it's a great gaming mouse but easy to break. Replaced the scroll wheel and cord. Good software. I also have a Razer Viper 8Khz which is also a pretty good mouse, well fabricated, too. The software was somewhat annoying. For sure, using better gaming mice helped me tune my graphic card settings. I like playing fps games and a good mouse helps keep the game in fast, clear focus.

I'm not familiar with Redragon mice. I'd have to look into it. But they do make a very good Keyboard. K607. Light touch, short stroke (travel) and fast.

@pzogel Do you think there really is a considerable overall performance difference between the V3 and the V3 pro? I wanted the wireless version, but it seems to me that the normal V3 is significantly superior

Measurable yes, considerable no. The benefits of wireless likely already make up for any advantages in numbers the V3 has, and the gap in the latter regard is significantly narrowed when combining the V3 Pro with the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. That said, the V3 is excellent overall, so if you don't mind the wire you're saving a lot of money at least.

Thank you for you time

Exactly today a firmware update was released for it on the Razer website, they say they solved a lot of problems, it would be great if there was an update in the Review in the future with the new firmware haha
