Rosewill unveiled the Himars, an entry-mainstream ATX mid-tower case with a front-facing 3.5-inch SATA HDD hot-swap bay, similar to that of the Nanoxia Basic 1. Besides this, you get a pair of 5.25-inch drive bays, room for graphics cards as long as 30 cm, CPU coolers as long as 16 cm, and a top 360 mm x 120 mm radiator mount, for a single large radiator handling both your CPU and high-end graphics card.

Well that's original

I wish there were more computer chassis with front hot-swap bays but that thing is just ugly.

I personally love the look, very industrial, I dont even care for swapable bays :P

I'm with you on this one. I prefer far more understated looks.

Original idea, horrible design,
Regards,

I think they are over thinking it.

By looking at the picture it seems clear that the hot-swap bay rotates out for access and that is just unnecessary for a hot-swap array of drives. It might even interfere with cooling.

At least its 3.5" because 3.5" can be converted to 2.5" with an adapter if need be. With 2.5" your just stuck with 2.5".
