I'm currently experiencing the same issue after getting a brand new computer up and running this weekend. Were any of you able to fix this issue?

I still see spikes in event viewer, but no crashes since last post after a few updates

That's good to hear. Could you share your Windows version and OS build? My PC is up to date but that apparently didn't solve the issue for me.
