Alright, but what about users on the forum reporting regressing performance with new iterations of Nvidia drivers, while AMD seems to be increasing?
We're not...
I've had zero issues with my 980ti. Also, the utter uselessness of stating "your card isn't as good as it was a year ago in that title you finished a year ago" is amusing. I now play BF1 at god knows what smooth fps at 1440p with ultra textures...no problems. Am I meant to care that NV stopped optimising for games a year old? Of course not.
Also - a lot of these optimisations bring zero real world performance difference. Sometimes a driver release botches some fps in some titles but they often get ironed out next release. No, only the weird ones have an issue with some conspiracy of degraded performance in last years games...
