It was to eliminate any possibility of a odd bios on the card. The 1 i found was 100% compatible with the card at hand and under my direction a card can be flashed and recovered.

Either way Kikovic on the amd site when you look for drivers look at your specific card and further down the list you see radeon pro drivers which to me seem to be the most stable.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

So, you have working drivers made for the card... but switching to Pro drivers for a consumer card....even though the new (old) ones now work?

If it ain't broke.........

I'm not trying them now, just keeping it in mind for future cards or so maybe. The Rx 570 now works fine, so for now im sticking to the 19.x.x driver as i have had 0 issues since.
I have been testing the card this whole morning.

I had some issues with previous drivers but with 20.2.2 (WHQL) my rx580 works without problems.

My RX doesn't work with any 20 drivers either, black screens which required a restart, when Windows 10 forced the driver update in December. Been working fine again on 19.11.3 for 4 months now. I blocked driver updates to stop Windows doing it again.

I have the same problem, I bought it brand new some time ago and from the start the problem was here, also for my friends who have bought it too. I don't know what are the most stable drivers. You are not the only one with the problem though.

EDIT: I just saw that you guys said it gets fixed if I use older 19.x.x drivers, I will try 19.12.2 Recommended (WHQL) and see what happens. Hope this works fine. I got scared before the gpu is damaged or something but nope. Thanks for this thread!

Stil on latest 19 driver here. 0 issues haven't tried the new one's.

Alright, there is definitely an issue and so many people have reported problems. This is my first AMD card and will probably be my last. Nvidia seems to just make a better product, drivers, etc. The only thing I liked about AMD gpu's was the open source drivers for linux, but gaming on linux still isn't totally ready.

hi everyone , so i think i have the same problem , i have xfx rx 570 4gb , i tried the newest driver and even 19 and 20 , it's always the same problem , if I'm playing the game stops and exits and the screen flickers like this
received_3641450079271359.jpeg

and then the screen goes black so i restart , with some drivers it happens less frequently than others but it still happens
here the bios i saved from gpu z
file here
if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it , thanks

Unfortunately from what I have seen xfx had some really trashy GPU cores from this area. I bought a used 1080ti for 300$ and all my problems have disappeared. I miss the open source drivers on the AMD side but my Nvidia has been great. Id recommend buying a newer card all together not from that generation.

That doesn't look like the same issue, does switching the monitor inputs 'wake' the card?

IDK , even if i switch the inputs the screen is still black , when i uninstall the drivers the problem doesn't happen
and i found someone on YouTube with the same card and problem and the same diagonal pixels and he solved it with installing Radeon 19 but it doesn't do it for me
