You have some point, when I cleaned my PC I have formated and installed Windows 11 24h2, worked perfectly for almost 4 weeks without a black screen, but Windows updated at the day the black screens have returned. This is going to sound insane but keep reading. So I got the newest Windows update for 11 and the first thing that happened was my Desktop freezing. I mean playing TWWH3 for 4 hours on a Saturday, close that and go on Youtube for a live stream, go get something to eat and come back to a frozen desktop. Restarting did nothing. The only solution was to kill the power at the PSU and wait for the RGB lights to go out. Restart and it would work but randomly freeze. Ok I figured it was the new Mouse I had installed from Kingston. I have an Asus board so I bought a Asus Tuf G3 mouse for $14.99. Then I reinstalled Windows. While I was getting everything back to the way I like it the wallpaper changed to a completely different image. I checked and it was not an image in the folder that MS creates, no this was from the Internet. MS in their wisdom is borking some Mice as they are not up to speed with this change. I have set a native Wallpaer and at least once every 7 to 8 days I get the freeze with the screen turning black and just the cursor on the screen as WIndows tries to change my background but forgot that it is no longer hooked. Windows 11 is a joke. As soon as the support for the rest of the Gaming platforms becomes a non issue my Gaming PC is going to Bazzite or Steam OS.
Looking at the updates history, the update last update before the black screens returns is the KB5046617, I'll attach a print.
Tomorrow I'll make a rollback if I have some free time and see if the black screens stop again.
I'll post a feedback as soon as I can.
