Looks promising for us customers and AMD to help them continue making good and affordable products if they regain the marketshare they deserve now. This is impressive. Basically you get a 4070Ti in raster and in ray tracing, if you get an OC card you're nearing a 5070Ti. As a 4080 owner this is what I like to see, hopefully next gen AMD goes for a higher end GPU to humble Nvidia a bit. I'm also hoping that the prices stay thin 5% of the list price.

It's a little slower than I was expecting, especially considering fps/watts. I don't know if I'm going to pull the trigger on this generation. I want to support AMD but I can't do a pity buy.

meanwhile in Europe. If AMD got stock, they have the chance to make a sweep for this generation. Marketing is useless if your product doesn't exist.

If they do the thing Nvidia did, where they have a paper price and a real one, then this is a race 99% won that they can still secure failure from the jaws of success with.

If there are good base models, at the $600 price, then I see literally no reason that anyone gaming at QHD or less should consider an alternative. That may change if the 5070ti and 5070 come down to MSRP...but this feels like a generation similar to the 3000 series where the MSRP won't be the retail price for months or potentially years.

Up to 346 Watt power consumption is insane with that manufacturing node.

You get more performance but you pay more watts for it

Officially you may use 110% of power. Unofficially who knows.
110% looks near up to 400 watt power consumption

I wonder how many buyers will need a new power supply unit.

Amazing gpu , king of price to performance ratio. Beating the fastest amd gpu from last generation is no joke , faster than nvidia rtx 5070Ti and sometimes closer to rtx 5080 , exactly the gpu that was needed in this rough times, AMD knock it out of the park on this one , finally they did pull it off , well done amd well done ....

Sorry for shatter your dreams @Vya Domus the 32GB card that's been leaked from China is a server/ai card not a gaming card that's what Frank Azor said himself and I believe that until something else changes.

It would have been nice if AIB partners would have had the option but maybe it will come in the future who knowns.

The one I really want is 5070Ti, but the one I will (try to) get is 9070 XT.

Unbelievable how hard Nvidia has dropped the ball on this one. The scalpers - I mean the AIBs and official shops - aren't helping either.

Considering all the previous leaks, the performance is pretty much as expected.
If they manage to keep the list price, this is a big win for AMD.

I thought "vs 7900XTX" angle was very very optimistic.
But AMD somehow pulled it off, even though on metal level it seemed unlikely.

A real next gen, architecture wise.

At RT gimmick in particular.
