In case anyone was wondering, the 9070 XT does compute in BOINC (at least under Windows).

I've just completed an Einstein@Home work unit in 9 and a half minutes, during which the card ate 80-85 W on average, running at around 1600 MHz on the core.

In comparison, the RDNA 2 iGPU in my 7800X3D progressed around 7% with the work unit that it started at the same time.

I'm not sure if it's ROCm, or just OpenCL, though (or are they the same thing? I'm not an expert on compute).

Back to this review!

I'm in search of my next upgrade and i think this is the one! Not just a great GPU from a technical aspect but the best looker of a GPU i've seen in some time... thats grille, grillorious!!

I wander if Sapphire will be releasing this in white? We want options Sapphy..

I doubt it, but they've got the Pure in white. I think it has a white PCB, too.

Nope, the Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pure has a black PCB. I think only the Yeston cards, Powercolor Red Devil Spectral and Hellhound Spectral have white PCB.

Last night i was checking 'completed builds' at PCPP with all 9700 XT's in white filtered... unfortunately, for me, none of them were visually appealing as the Nitro+. If no white is on the horizon, i guess the grey works too.

The only good looking white RX 9070 XT card is the Powercolor Red Devil Spectral Edition. Or I would like to call it, the "White Devil".

Everything on that card is white, PCB, power connectors, fans, backplate and even the heatsink.
