Sapphire announced a new Radeon HD 7870 GHz graphics card based on a compact PCB, and its Dual-X cooling solution that features on some of its higher-end HD 7770 graphics card models. Not to be confused with the HD 7870 FleX with Dual-X, the new card features a standard display output layout, a cost-effective PCB, and a noise-optimized dual-fan cooling solution. The card packs 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface, and sticks to AMD reference clock speeds of 1000 MHz core, and 4.80 GHz memory. The card draws power from two 6-pin PCIe power connectors, display outputs include two DVI, and one each of HDMI and DisplayPort. Expect the card to be priced at US $230.

look good but i compared these to the flex edition and their arrays are different. I thought Flex editions were supposed to have DP across the board

Those characters they create for the box covers are getting worse and worse!

I dislike these recent cooler designs. Axial fan's do not work well (sometimes not at all) with something close to their inlet side. These types of coolers in a SLI or Crossfire configuration do not work as well as the blower style coolers used in most reference coolers. Blasting the GPUs heat back into the chassis doesn't help the situation either.

i have the OC edition of this card and i'm very satisfied about noise levels & performance, only downside of it is that i buyed week before the pricedrop :(

we dont care if the PCB is compact. doesnt matter as long as it takes up two slots! give us single slots PLZZZ!
