Hello guys need help and your advice, recently just bought Sapphire Nitro+ RX6900XT Special Edition from Fb marketplace card itself looks like new and warranty seal on screws not broken.

So problem is when I installed everything boot up as normal card working fans and rgb light working display also showing as normal but when I try to instal drivers in the middle of process black screen apiers and stay until you restart or delete drivers. When restarting some times display working again. Also in device manager can see code 43. So basically when GPU hits drivers always black screen appears :(

Recently tryed things:
DDU
Fresh Install of Windows 10
Bios switch tryed all positions
All type of drivers including enterprise one
Also tryed to flash original bios but will find only unverified ones for this card, and will flash without problems but same nothing happens, also tryed to flash another card bios but seems program not allowing this :(

Any suggestions ? Might be faulty memory module ? Thanks in advance

Thanks will definitely try to connect to different monitor

Just tried another monitor nothing changes :(
Is it possible to flash other card bios to this one ? as I can't found normal bios for this specific card...
Also when trying to flash another card bios like Nitro+ non SE model got SubsystemIDs mismatch, when tried force flash with command prompt it's starting flashing process and installer disappears what's it.
Any suggestions or other ways to flash this card ?

What are your system specs?

I wouldnt buy any gpu from facebook, craigslist as there is no money back protection on there like there is on ebay or amazon.

Try the card in another machine or get it tested at a shop, if it does the same, well then you got scammed

The power limit on a 6900XT is basically unlocked. The 6800 has a set TDP that it will not go past. You need at least a 750W PSU for the GPU to continue the process. My 6800XT/5950X system pulls 647 watts average while Gaming with the CPU pulling between 40-80 Watts. Even though the 5600X is only a 65W part (and does not exceed that) Asus is notorious for over volting their boards so the MB may even be the culprit. The solution though I am 99% sure is more PSU power to mitigate those issues.

Please do that! My heart skipped a beat when I saw that you have a 650W PSU.....you'd need 750W, though I'd suggest you go over that, get an 850W Gold rated PSU from Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, Be Quiet!, etc. My own Nitro+ RX 6900 XT + R9 3900X + 16GB RAM + 256GB NVMe M.2 + 4x SATA SSDs + 2x HDD main gaming rig is powered by a Corsair HD1000 Platinum. When it comes to PSU, my philosophy is to always get more than 'just enough' or recommended.

Thanks ! Also Is your GPU Nitro+ or Nitro+ Special Edition ? As I can't find correct bios for exact same gpu.

Guys also getting this error when trying to flash Original bios file from Nitro+ model, my Model Nitro+ SE but unfortunately can't find exact same bios.

You should only be concerned with getting the system to post initially. Any flashing should wait at least a month to make sure all your parts are viable. A 6900XT is not something to mess around with Vbios.

An update will tried everything another, monitor, displayport cable, another psu nothing helps, just spoke with some man who repairing GPUs he says it's definitely memory module failure and will cost about £60 for diagnostic, £50 for work, and £40 for each failed module.

Yeah I would 2nd a higher PSU. On my 6900XT I originally had, I tried a 850W G.Skill Platinum and as soon as I powered on the system, I was getting an overvoltage error that didn't happen on my 2080 Super. Those cards definitely can pull a lot of power.

What was the other PSU that you tried?

It was 750w gold PSU, I actually can't believe that PSU might couse this problem.

Mine is the Nitro+ (non-SE), in other words, no fancy RGB on the fans. As the others have suggested, do NOT mess with vBios now, wait till you've stabilized the system (and have a stable, running card) and monitor for a while before even thinking of doing that. Why flash the vBios in the first place?

My Nitro+ has been on the original shipped vBios since day 1 when I got it, I don't see a need to even think of flashing it. Especially now when prices of GPU's have been crazy, I got mine in January 2021 at about 1350USD, now I see a listing at Amazon for about 2100USD, it's just nuts and not worth bricking a card just for the sake of flashing the vBios. In my neck of the woods, the card has almost doubled its pricing in some cases/listings (saw a listing at local Amazon site for the Nitro+ RX 6900 XT going for about 2530USD, converted local $ to USD), not a good time to be messing around with vBios, no sirree!

You are using 3.20

You need to do -unlockrom 0 and then

-fa -fp.

-f is for 2.93 and older

I think you were given a broken card to begin with since the 6800 was ruled out.

An update will tried everything another, monitor, displayport cable, another psu nothing helps, just spoke with some man who repairing GPUs he says it's definitely memory module failure and will cost about £60 for diagnostic, £50 for work, and £40 for each failed module.

Next time stick to ebay or amazon so you can contest any foul play, that's how I was able to get $100 back from a 5800 being advertised as a 5800X (called him out with undeniable facts)

The asshole you got it from probably mined on it (sons of bitches)

I feel sorry for you, scams are everywhere! Here when the main online shop mercado livre dont have a secure policy those son of bitches scammers selled alot of rocks and damaged things, now this is upside down and its rough to honest sellers becouse now "buyers" are the scammers, those most shameless fill the return packet with rocks (this is not so worse to seller, an unboxing video solve all) and those insidious send the same model of product with defect or damaged and it a certainlly loss.

I was thinking days ago, what a freaking shit society turned
