Yes, we know that AMD's graphics division anniversary really isn't on its 50th year - ATI's acquisition, the true spirit behind AMD's graphics prowess, occurred back in 2006. However, that doesn't mean AMD's graphics aren't deserving of special commemorative editions. Sapphire have taken it upon themselves to celebrate the occasion with a gold-colored RX 590 graphics card.

The leak came over from one of my own homecountry's webshops, with a full product page that has since been taken down. There is no difference between this card and the usual blue RX 590 Nitro+ - the devil is in the color, so to say. Reference clocks remain the same at 1560 MHz core, and the cooling solution is the same. In Portuguese prices, the pricing difference seems to amount to some extra €25 for the limited edition graphics card. Whether the pricing difference is enough to warrant the additional investment should go according to your own mileage.

Nice looking card.

What a beautiful card. Too bad the chip underneath is meh.

Wow! This is how you do limited editions. If I was looking to upgrade now; I would definitely get this nice looking beauty.

I heard it can be clocked to 2GHz, top cream de la cream silicone lottery ;)

yup.
despite the looks 300 for a polaris card in 2019 is crazy.

I like it but I hope the color is actually gold-ish, and not like mustard/baby-poop yellow in person

looks gold on pther pics

Each to their own.... I like the look of the backplate but the colour of the cooler is very meh IMO. Definitely a marmite situation

Uhm why Polaris. Limited edition of binned Radeon VIIs would have been better choice.

Radeon will have it's own 20th anniversary next year, so they could have leave 50th anniversary to processors. But then again Sapphire is mostly graphics card manufacturer and celebrating with products that they can do best is the way to go. Though maybe they could have gone with special x470 motherboard to go with that amds anniversary CPU.

So... instead of making a super expensive Radeon VII+ inspired special edition binned silicon sold at auction only for easily over $1,000 to $1,500... AMD/Sapphire chose a mainstream part and charged only an extra 25€/$?

I can respect that and want one, just because.

RVII is like limited edition card already.

??? Not what I'm seeing... plus AMD's rather large supply deal with Google potentially means plenty of lower binned GPUs with fused off dies supply to make RVII.

I’m just glad that the robot frogs are off the heatsink shroud.

Now we just need to get that crap off the packaging.

putty n paint make many a men faint, i want one !

Exactly, I hardly see any store got one in stock.........

In 2 minutes of searching I'm seeing stores like Newegg are fully stocked (can't link them), Asrock is even starting to lower prices a bit on them.

So someone at Sapphire looked at a card that is becoming increasingly harder to recommend in the face of 1660 and 1660Ti and thought: let's add another $25, that should do it :D
It's nice if it happens to match the theme of your PC, but it's still a 590.
