Speeds are not applying well like TriXX were not working.

I think is CCC/Drivers stuff because before upgrading it worked perfect, as usual. If I fix it I will tell.

Hey W1zzard

When I'm using a single card, Trixx is working fine, I'm able over-clock and over-volt.

But when I have crossfire cards, Trixx crashes and has to be closed.

If I repeatedly try to load it up, sometimes Trixx will load, but I can not change the voltage.

I'm using Trixx 4.01 and two HD 5850s

Have you got any suggestions, to how I could fix this problem?

I've been using TrixX and afterburner for a while now. I finally went with just trixx. I like the interface and gadget better. The gadget is a REALLY nice addition to an already great app.

I flashed with a custom modded BIOS on my 6950's and used smart doctor to unlock voltage control etc.

I run my cards at 1000Mhz core / 1400Mhz memory. Now using two of them again. I absolutely love it. I have triple 24" eyefinity setup, and a 42" led lcd panasonic TV that I run a 30ft. HDMI cable through the wall to.

Thanks for all of your hard work on TrixX! I would love to pay you back some how...

Hi, I'm new here so I hope this issue hasn't been posted before!
I recently purchased a Gigabyte 6850 OC video card but can't find a utility that will operate the fan speed properly, I love the custom fan setting in Trixx and although it seems to run properly when I minimize it aeems to stop working until I restore trixx then the settings work again. :confused:

I am using CCC version 11.6.
Any help appreciated.

Do you mean that the fan profile does not kick in automatically after the computer has been restarted?

If so then this is a known issue and Wizz is working on it.

No it works while the app is showing on screen but minimizing it stops it, I have since found that CCC v11.6 is the problem, if CCC is stopped from loading at startup it then works, also I just found out that the Gigabyte 6850 OC card you cannot adjust the core voltage, it is set to 0.95v, so much for overclocking this card, not having much luck!!

runs also on Sapphire 4870x2, core/mem clocks is getting set on both GPU´s correctly
checked via GPU-Z 1st tab , sidebar gadget doesn´t show correctly speeds when changing core/mem , same as GPU-Z Sensor tab

No I don't close it, it is definitely minimized, can see the icon on the task bar, if the CCC overclocking screen is showing at the same time the CCC screen flashes at what seems to be the refresh rate, maybe I am just doing something wrong or should reinstall them both!

May as well try the new beta release!

The program could definitely use an internal auto update feature, or at least an option to check for an update to manually download from website.

Can someone tell me how to save the custom fan setting with the profile, All the clocks save ok but every time Trixx starts the fan control defaults to automatic?

are you using the latest version, released a few days ago?
make sure you click the "custom" option once again and make changes to the fan profile so it saves properly

Yes it is version 4.02, I have custom ticked then I click on Overclocking then click on profile number 1 and select save. If I exit and then run it it's back to automatic, even if I click on profile 1 then Load, no difference.

oh sorry, i misunderstood your question.

yes. that's correct. the overclocking profile does not save the fan settings. i'll think about it

Hi Wizzard, i am also reporting there is a fan bug in latest trixx 4.02 with latest catalyst. It no longer save the custom profile upon windows restart.

also in catalyst control performance tab, the screen keep jumping between full detail and only fan/powertune details.

using 6950 flashed hardware.

Hi Wizzard, sorry i meant custom fan profile. it reset to automatic every windows boot.
overclock settings and all are fine. only fan bugged.

nice piece of software w1zzard, can i ask you to consider putting a logged values screen into the prog(similar but not the same as afterburners) as i love the gadget so trixx is allways on but i do have to run afterburner frequently so i can monitor fps and temps easily,

yours could blow afterburners away if it showed the temps of all gpu parts seperate like its reported in the gadget/soft, ya know the vrm temps etc and 3x core temps instead of 1 as afterburner does as vrm temps matter on the edge.

then i and many others would have no need to load AB ever again.

Hi Wizzard, i think problem is same. Custom fan profile always reset on boot. My card brand is msi. I now go back to 4.01, set custom fan curve, boom, no problem every boot.

Hi Wizzard, nice app.
A little bugs... I have four 5850 xtreme no crossfired. I can manipulate all the values on all cards, but..

The shown temp in all the tabs is always the temp of only one card.
The restore clocks option only works in the first card.
