Introduction
Satellite Reign is probably best described as a tactical isometric RPG. Its part Pillars of Eternity, and part E.Y.E. It's a spiritual successor to the original Syndicate (Not EA's 2012 abortion version) made by 5 Lives Studios. The game is extremely open, dropping the player in a massive multi-part city, allowing you to wander all over the place and pretty much do as you please. It addresses an awful lot of the main issues with the original, namely every unit equipping the same gear at the end game. It has a boat load of content, hours of gameplay, and a true sense of approaching any situation however you like. The game recently released from Early Access, with the hopes of living up to the name the 1993 title earnt itself all those years ago. Has this new title lived up to its expectations? Is it decidedly better?
