Fun week ahead! Around my parts the 4060 should have an MSRP of 335€ and the 4060Ti 449€ (which is on par with what the "vanilla" 3070 costs now), which is more than I expect an 8GB card should cost in 2023, and the 16GB 4060Ti is just ridiculously priced (559€).
I'm starting to consider going for a 12GB 3060 if I can find them new below 300€ (I actually found one but I never heard of the store before).
Normally I say buy what you like, but if you are still earnestly focused on getting the most for your money then neither 30 series nor 40 series is for you. The value just isn't there.
A bunch of my friends have been snapping up 6700XTs and 6750XTs on sale lately. Not bad at all for gamers on a budget. And if you can spare a bit more, 6800XTs and 6950XTs on sale are great.
edit: wait, I just realized that you are stuck with G-sync because of the monitor. Tough decision. Might be time to consider breaking out of that ecosystem.
