Well, for people on B450 who wants a fairly cheap upgrade this is not really an issue, our motherboards limit us to PCIe Gen 3 in the first place. Personally I'm inclined to agree with Tom's Hardware conclusions about these parts being mostly attractive for people on older Ryzen systems who want to upgrade.Like my last line suggests, it has an older PCIe 3.0 interface compared to Ryzen 5600 and up.
