What!?!?!? You can get a brand new Xbox 360 for $200, and buy a second hand 20GB HDD for like $25 and be able to run anything. Where are you getting your figures
To get a comparable Xbox360 new, is $400. And a 20GB HDD is not enough, at least it wasn't for me, it filled up very quickly. And even then, I have to go out and buy a wireless adaptor for $100, and a Play and Charge kit for $20.
Or if I go with the $200 Arcade console, I still have to put out $100 for the 60GB HDD and another $100 for the Wireless Adaptor, and another $20 a Play and Charge kit.
We can talk about used figures, but they aren't really useful, I've found used PS3's for under $300, and they usually come with games and extra accessories. I'm talking new prices, what you would have to put out if you walked in the store today and bought everything new.
Features? It's a game console. Mine just sits under my TV doing nothing unless there's the occasional game we rent. I think they are all overpriced honestly. They don't do nearly half as much a gaming PC can.
Then you are missing out, there are a lot of things the PS3 can do, some of them even involve gaming, and you probably use them and not even think about it.
A wireless connection for starts, something the PS3 comes with, but the Xbox360 doesn't.
The ability to use any USB cable to charge the controllers, with no need to buy an extra accessory to charge the controller, and the PS3 comes with the USB cable to boot. Hell, for the $20 I had to put out for a Play and Charge kit, I bought a 15 ft. USB cable to charge my PS3 controller, so I charge it while sitting on my couch in my living room if I want, something I actually can't do with my Play and Charge kit because the cable is too short.
