OFFICIAL Star Citizen

Can't believe I'd not seen this club before now!

Backed the game in the Kickstarter and have the following ships:

M50
350R
325A
F7C-M Super Hornet (with F7A military skin/geometry modification)
Freelancer
Constellation
Retaliator

Handle in game is Tiliam/Human_error (damn forums having 2 handles). I'll be doing different roles depending on my mood. GMT timezone but I'm a night owl so I overlap with EST as well.

I can't wait for LTI to end so I will stop being tempted with new ships (may get a Starfarer next week and will get the upgrades for my Freelancer/Constellation when the variants launch but that's it!).

I'm also an original backer (in case anyone's after an Original backer for LTI packages).

For those asking about the P52 merlin snub fighter in the constellation here are some screenshots I took of her in the early hangar releases (she was textured back then, so either they broke it in the recent patches or are re-doing the ship).

For anyone wanting to see some of the concept art being worked on one of the main concept artists posts regular updates to his CGhub page here: http://elijah.cghub.com/images/ - he does non-star citizen work as well but all the SC work is watermarked as such. As you can see from his recent uploads he's been doing a lot of work on the asteroid hangar (we saw similar concepts released for the hangars about 2-3 weeks before they went live in the subscribers' section of the RSI site).

Nice man! You are hardcore! Welcome to the club. I'm very much hoping that we'll be able to see each other in the persistent universe, with being across the pond and all that.

I gave my Digital Bounty Hunter package to a friend for his birthday this past weekend, so I no longer have the 300i. Instead, I now have a 350R in its place.

Yeah, and now there's an Aurora LX sitting next to it.
The Aurora LX and the Origin 350r(was going to build the 300i up to the 350r) were the two ships I originally wanted and was going to work up to a Constellation... things just kind of ended up the other way around, lol:roll:
If I have the cash next week, I may pick up a Starfarer and one or two of the new ships scheduled to be revealed next week.
 
Also got the Aurora LX today! nice to also be able to buy small upgrade:)
 
We're almost at the $29M stretch goal!

I have an Aurora LX and F7C-M Super Hornet in addition to the Connie and 350r. I think I'm going mad.
 
I went into best buy today to test out keyboard switches and ran into 2 guys looking at Logitech 3d pros, they said they where getting them for star citizen. Almost said " see you in the verse"...

'Sadly only had cherry blue and brown. I can type faster on blue but like the feel of browns.'

Starfarer day!
I'd be willing to bet we hit the $31M stretch goal today.

Also, keep an eye out for an announcement for a new ship. Last week they hinted that the anniversary sale will end with the reveal of a new ship, possibly for sale.

The Xi'an scout and Banu merchantman will be released tomorrow during the livestream, as will one of the 4 batches of Idris-P (the other batches being released at different times to give all timezones a chance). I did my part towards 31Mil with a starfarer of my own (gotta fuel my fleet somehow!). One of the vehicle artists confirmed the starfarer is 90m long and has "almost too much space to fill" - sounds like the multi-deck crew section is quite spacious :D

Really torn as to whether or not I'll be getting a Starfarer.
The Banu Merchantman isn't really that interesting to me, but the Xi'An Scout may be, and if they're not ridiculously overpriced and I manage to get one in time, I may end up with a Corvette.
 
Ok, Erocker. I didn't end up with a Starfarer, but I did end up with a Drake Cutlass.

Surprisingly, me too. I was expecting it to be a crew size of 10+.
Maybe I'll pick one up, maybe not. I'll probably just use my Constellation for trading/cargo hauling. Besides, the Banu Merchantman looks MASSIVE, and I don't really want to be the one piloting something that large yet, lol.
 
The merchantman does look interesting but I think I'll hold off and pick it up in-game once I see how well it flies.
60 units of cargo is impressive but I was kinda expecting more from a craft from a trade specialized species.
