The organization is doing well, we're ranked 45th (in activity) last I checked with 23 members! Our newest member, TheMailMan wishes all to "live long and prosper", though he cannot be with us right now due to some jerk moderator using his banstick on him once again. Heh.

Devs have said hangar multiplayer will be after dogfighting goes live - probably before the multiplayer ship release in dogfighting though. Got my new R9 290X and the once jittery hangar (on an OC'd 5970) is now buttery smooth everywhere I go - not bad considering there are no optimisations there yet.

Oh and it's one month to the day before we see the DFM reveal at PAX. Can't wait

Anyone know the details of the "commitment" level for the organizations? I see regular, casual, and hardcore. I can't seem to find any info on it.

It's just like it sounds casual for a relaxed group, regular for a group that will do a little but of both, and hardcore for groups that take things serious, such has must play "x" amount hour a week, has to be around for meetings...

Great news for anyone that has a idris corvette they now get upgraded to idris frigate!

Yes to all above, just not yet. Currently just you in your own hanger.

There is alien races. I think squadron 42 is single player only missions, but that's what the online universe is for, to play with your friends. There will be plenty things you can do online.

Nope, they have said somewhere before that you will be able to have friends drop into S42 and assist you with the single player missions if you want.
It was in a wingmans hanger or a 10 4 the chair at some point.

I tried Crossfire mod. Long story short, without some kind of mod, the game is really only good for co-op because of the way the universe progresses (rather, it doesn't). Once you finish the story, there really isn't any point to playing in the original universe anymore.

I still haven't bought Star Citizen yet. I really need to do that soon.

I still haven't bought Star Citizen yet. I really need to do that soon.

I used to play the hell out of Freelancer, my old disks got lost somewhere in time. This game isn't easy to find, so that is a deal on ebay. There are some servers (at least way back when) that were just large open PvP sandboxes. Those were fun.

Ooooh, the latest transmission shows them trying out the Saitek Rhino... I'd love to see what they actually think of it without the Saitek rep sitting off their shoulder. Really really wanting one of those....

Eh, I'm not worried about delays. This company has shown its commitment to producing and providing a quality product at the end of the road, and if takes a little longer to get us there, I'm ok with that. I think we've all seen the result of rushed projects, and half-assed QA, and none of us want that. I'm mores pissed about the 'miners and the video card gouging than a slightly delayed SC.
