I fought off and whined about GTA5. Not alone there. The whole reason I built my new rig is so I could get a start on RDR2 and then when I had free time read up and it make sense from a gameplay standpoint. Gonna do the same with this I think.

We might not all agree on hardware, but good games are good.

Honestly I might just go for a 7900xtx if the 7800xt isn't interesting. If I'm spending that kind of money anyway, might as well splurge (without getting silly, like the cost of a 4080).

The only reason I am purchasing Deluxe is because this weekend in the USA is Labor Day weekend so I will actually have time to play the game! Kids don't have school and I will have an extra day off. Next week won't be the same with too many activities.

Preloading now, this is by far the earliest I've been to a game so it'll be interesting. Got in at the ground floor with a $300 6700 XT and was oblivious to the free game until Amz send an email with the promo info. That was a nice surprise!

I just purchased Digital Premium Edition on Steam and am in the process of preloading. It says "coming September 6th." in my Steam library. Does that show for other people? I thought it would say something like "coming September 1" since I bought the Premium edition.
