Swiftech Releases the H220-X CPU Liquid Cooling Kit

Rouchon Industries Inc., dba Swiftech today announced the release of the H220-X all-in-one CPU liquid cooling kit. The patent pending H220-X liquid cooling system is Swiftech's next generation all-in-one CPU cooler featuring a dual 120 mm copper radiator coupled to an enthusiast grade pump and water-block.

As in previous Swiftech offerings, the product remains entirely focused on low to inaudible operating noise with extreme thermal performance, and it is engineered to appeal to the broadest possible spectrum of performance oriented users ranging from casual to hard-core enthusiasts. For casual users, the kit is shipped factory pre-filled, ready for plug-and-play installation, and it is maintenance free during its three year warranty period. For enthusiast users, the kit can be fully customized thanks to easily replaceable tubing and fittings, and its powerful pump can easily support additional components such as graphics cards and/or extra radiator(s).





The H220-X leverages Swiftech's patent pending technology initially developed for the MCR-X20 Drive series of radiators, in which the pump is fully integrated into the radiator instead of being built into the waterblock. It features a compact dual 120 mm copper and brass radiator, a built-in backlit reservoir with visible coolant level, and Swiftech's recently released flagship Apogee XL waterblock for extreme cooling performance.

The original H220 is comparable to those already. Waiting on some reviews to see how much flexibility can be had with the pump on this model (i.e. can it be used as a stand alone with a different rad?)

I don't like how the res/pump block the area that would otherwise be used for a push pull fan...

You can't cool both a CPU and GPU with a NH-D15. And these kits are upgradeable.

Closed premade Loops sucks donkey ass!!! Both from performance and built quality point of view. If you are going to cool some expensive and high end hardware like let's say Asus rampage IV BE + i7 4960X etc, better to make your own custom loop !!

This will be released in the US. As the Patent the pump is not on the block.

If you bothered to read anything you see it is the same pump, block and rad is used on there custom system.

Push/Pull does very little in temps when the rad is low FPI. Too beat the Asetek patent (look it up) this design had to be done.
Wouldn't say champions to those rads either.

For a GPU you get a Arctic Accelero Xtreme ofcourse. They are the Noctuas of GPU Cooling.

The only person that needs to be ignored is you. Attacking a person directly for trying to prevent people from purchasing a potentially faulty product is not good for this commmunity and it doesn't fit with "Cool Vibrations".

I am pretty sure that this will handle what it is suppose to and then some. I for one have the h220 model and I currently have it hooked up to a hydro copper 780, an oc' haswell @4.6ghz, 1 480 rad, 1 120 rad and a reservoir and my temps are great my processor dont pass 65 degrees after hours of gaming and my hydro copper usually stays around 42-48(c). I am pretty sure that this thing will be better than the h220 by probably another 5-8 degrees...so I am getting one.

I think he is correct on his assumptions. I own the H220, and only had it replaced once for the revised version. You be surprised how many have not mention the problems. Any product can have issues, not everyone comes onto forums and say so.

Think again. Corsair only replace on a case by case situation. Already had people who did not get there system replaced.
This is the same with any watercooling system, leaks can happen. It is no different with the H220/H220X, they are not like the CLC you see everywhere.
As for leaks on Swiftech, it is case by case when that happens. As long the system has not been taken apart.
