Holy Shit!!
It picks up my overclock!
I overclocked my i5-2500k to 4.8Ghz.. but the only program to identify it is CPU-Z. The rest read stock clocks..
Now, finally, Real Temp - which has always been my temp app of choice - does the same!

RealTemp uses the Intel recommended method for reporting wattage. Unfortunately Intel cheaped out so this calculation is based on the VID voltage and not the actual core voltage. When you overclock and manually set the voltage in the bios, the CPU VID voltage and the actual voltage can be completely different so the Intel method falls on its face. If the VID voltage and actual voltage are the same then the reported power consumption should be very accurate.
TechPowerUp has always been the #1 home of RealTemp. I wrote most of the code but the W1zzard has donated some code to my projects along the way so I thought it was a good idea at the time to let TPU host it. No regrets there. TPU has grown into a great site since 2008.
