I would assume their expectations were 40% IPC improvement over excavator.

Yep, give the guy a break. He has listened to feedback and improved so much in a short time.

Its not easy to do this, to read but make it look like you're not reading.

I like the little jokes here and there. Tech news needs to be light hearted and dont be afraid to smile more!.

Buddy, I don't see where anyone is asking you to stay on topic. I think you were giving him good feed back and the reason I said, "I see your point". I don't see it as anything negative. You told him how to improve and even added a "smilies" to lighten the helpful criticism. He even thanked your post. Also, try not to take every negatively.
