No, muh friend from Quincy, Ill did/does.. the read/write pins on the AM3 processors are not the same as the AM2+ pins... he cleared its "BIOS" but the write failed since the write pins weren't correctly set. He will try to get it up and running... will post a CPU-Z if successful.

Definitely good to hear that the RMA is going through. 
I was always a fan of DFI, I love the bios options. Have been hearing to many rumors of DFI's eminent demise, but if they are honoring RMA maybe I can pick up a board. I bought an Asus board this time, but it is against my beliefs.
