Galax 3090 SG is indeed using reference PCB, however all EVGA models are using custom PCB

So you can't use waterblock for the EVGA XC3 model, only WB for Reference PCB.

You can check if any of these make a waterblock that fits your model, maybe you can get them cheaper. EK with a block for front and back would be ideal, I don't think water on the back is neccessary. My temps are ok I think.
Your card seems to be reference at first glance, but that RGB header and fan header placement is wonky ok its already confirmed yours is reference too. Your card does look very similar to mine, but I can not take my card apart and check without loosing warranty.

I got the same cap-placement as you, same connector placement, same coil and fuse positions close to the power connectors, and I also go some empty headers in the area yours are in. Well I made a list for you
1x Galax 3090 WB
1x 280mm radiator
1x D5 Pump and Resevoir combo
4x 1M soft tube 10x13mm
7x Compression fitting for soft tube 10x13mm
6x Stop plug
1x Temperature stop plug
1x Valve
1x Pump bracket
2x 90degree fittings

Loop order: Pump outflow --> Radiator --> GPU --> Resevoir Top Inlet (or outflow --> GPU --> Radiator --> inlet)

Use the bottom Inlet for the drain valve (can be used for filling the loop also)
Add 2x compression fittings for each additional component (2x for CPU WB and 2x for additional Radiator)
The temperature stop fitting can go into the GPU WB to monitor water temp, which can be used to regulate fans speed.

Many edits later, ali wants $90 shipping and will take a month, and i really want that active backplate for this madness hot VRAM.

One local store sells EK products and watercooling stuff, i can skip $90 shipping and get it quicker... when they get the right waterblock in next month which gives me time to save.

Looks good, however the EK SPC pump is a little weak, 250L/H. You might have a problem later when you want to add a CPU block and another RAD.
How about the Corsair pump/res combo with D5 pump?

well the EK Quantum Kinetic TBE does look better than the corsair, much stronger pump too.
For high static pressure 120mm fans, I recommend some Arctic P12

I tried some Vardar fans before and the noise/perf ratio kinda sucky, Corsair fans are the same.
Maybe get some Phantek RGB fan frames?

Problem with that kit is that the pump is too weak, almost like AIO level, and has no room for loop expansion in the future.

Remember you will need 2x classic fittings for the active backplate also, so order more of them (hell they are 1$ a piece in Aus?, they are 5$ a piece here)

i'm not 100% sure on how that backplate connects to the front, so you think it'll need more?
(this is why i was after a kit, because without it in front of me i dont know how many of each piece i need)

1x Male to male extender for the drain valve
3x Stop Plug is enough, no need for 6 of them (some multi-port Resevoir just don't come with stop plug, so I was just being safe)

Thanks for reminding me. I updated my drivers and checked EVGA if they would enable this feature on the X299 DARK, sure enough they did.

So my board and CPU are compatible, driver is too but I still need a new VBIOS for the 3090. I contacted support and asked if they can provide me one, will see if I get it.

And I thought it meant the current latest driver would already support it. So yeah still have to wait.

Alright, got an answer from support. New VBIOS version will come soon™©. ReBAR will be enabled with the next VBIOS revision for my card and they plan to release a specific tool for this update. I guess since a lot more people than usual want to update their VBIOS they will attempt to make it idiot-proof.

Someone just sold me their old EK watercooling setup for $100
(intel) CPU block, pump, 280mm rad, EK fans

It's pre-RGB stuff but i can combine it with a new GPU block and away i go

bunch of fittings and small amount of hose for 1/2ID 3/4OD (ordered more hose, this is my jam now)
D5 pump and honky res

Hose ordered from amazon cause that size isnt common in clear, all thats left is to wait for the active backplate to be ready to order and i'm greenlit

I have been trying to get a RTX 3000 card since Christmas. I have entered every Newegg shuffle for the past 3 weeks (when I found out about it) selecting any and every card between a 3060ti to a 3080, as long as the card is under $1000. I'm also doing the same thing for AMD 6000 cards. 15 shuffles so far, and still no damn luck
