OFFICIAL The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Discussion)

...I'm gonna spend a loooot of time on it...
Yeah, especially sunken treasures in Skellige. Those whom played it will get that joke. Seriously though, despite that element of it being repetitious, you CAN use it to get a lot of gear to keep or sell. I have to say though, on NG+ Blood and Broken Bones mode, I get by without buying anything really, same as I did on Just the Story mode. I've got WAY more money than I need, and the stuff I find is adequate.

I have 230hrs, and only half of second dlc done(B&W), but I didn't use my horse and tried to get all area discovered, for me it is more a interactive-story than a game...

My favorite series of all time although I am having a hard time finishing Blood and Wine because I don't want it to be over. While another game as Ciri or Letho would be sweet, it just won't be the same.

Where I can find a Witcher 3 complete quests list, so I can see if I am missing quests?, like all the quest+contracts+treasures from 1 region, in 1 single list..., google didn't helped me...

The best you're going to get is a comprehensive walkthrough probably. I doubt anyone is just compiling a list of all the quests, because they're instead sorting them into types of quests, and characters/areas they're obtained from/in, etc.

Problem is the music in Witcher 3 isn't very notable.

It fit the game, yeah, but "notable" means the music is so good it literally rises above the game. A title starts playing and you notice it. Everytime it plays after that, you think to yourself "that's a damn good title." I beat all the Witcher games at least twice yet never had that happen once. We're talking 100s of hours worth of being exposed to the music. That's not a good track record. Even in that preview, only a few seconds stood out and that was because it started rolling into the Witcher theme which is good.

Example of notable music:
-Mass Effect: Spectre induction
-Assassin's Creed III: Aquilla
-Crysis 2: Main Theme

I could literally go on for pages including games that aren't AAA. If you played those games and heard those titles, those titles probably just started playing in your head. That's what "notable" means.

Here's one you probably don't recognize the title of but if you've ever played a few hours of Skyrim, it's another title you'll instant recognize:

Honestly, I wish Witcher series had better music. Most of my music library is composed of music from games. When I want my mind blown or to get lost in sound, Witcher is not where I go.

I like most of Witcher 3 music, few parts from Mass Effect 3 and music from Skyrim it is meh, so it depend on each person's taste; I don't like Assassin's Creed or Crysis games, but for others , maybe , are the best games in history...

Most of Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Crysis music are not great. There's a few diamonds in the rough. I wasn't talking about the games, only the scores.

I'd say about 25-50% of Skyrim is exceptional, but that's including Dragonborn which remastered a lot of Morrowind's excellent music.

Since you probably never played AC3, here's Aquila:

As Mass Effect 3, I like more 'An End, Once And For All' than 'Spectre induction'...each with it is own tastes...

Always down to personal taste, liked morrowind and skyrim theme though not much else. Dark Souls III menu 3 was pretty good imo

Which is another excellent one. Mass Effect really only had the one. None come to mind for Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 3 had several (especially end game/Extended Cut) but considering the length of the game, pretty poor yet the best so far in the series.

Those are also excellent and yeah, it fundamentally does. Just surprised CD Projekt would bother. I don't think it won any music awards.

Music Awards for me are like Oscars, most are meh...yes, from Mass Effect 2 I can't remember any music, was meh...for people who liked the music from Witcher 3, this concert it is a good aquisition...

Nothing touches Brutal Legend and it's OST lmao.

I just bought it 2 days ago, now I must find the time to watch...

I figured out why the group with the weird instruments was separated off to the left:

They're credited in the official album as Percival, a Polish folk art band that specializes in medieval instruments. They're apparently touring Poland performing "Wild Hunt Live."

Can't edit last post: it is definitely 2.0 AAC. Pretty disappointed no surround but not entirely surprised by it.

The concert is available on youtube for now.

Every time I come to dump stuff in my stash in Skellige I end up just standing there for like 15 minutes listening to the beautiful harp...

Yeah, Spikeroog I think is the title you're talking about. It has always stood out.

The film festival video will probably get deleted because it's not CD Projekt/GOG that uploaded it.
