If i had the money i would buy it just because its fugly and to be honest im getting sick of all the boring looking cases out there even if they function well.

What do you expect? All the cases looks almost similar because that's the best configuration there is out there. You can do fancy things like tilting the mobo 90 degrees (Raven) and the likes, but the fact is that there is not much case manufacturers can do to make their case look different others.

this is very ugly :shadedshu when will Thermaltake learn?? Haf X crush this abomination alive

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Personally I find it refreshingly different. Not better, but different. Also useful if you are trying to impress people, boosting your epeen etc.

ugly? I think its really good looking case. I love it. I'm glad thermal take, use quite radical design, and i like the cable management in it.

So you say this case is ugly, and then mention one of the ugliests cases ever?:shadedshu

Anyone can take a standard case layout and slap a side windows and a bunch of ugly plastic on it. I applaud Thermaltake for thinking outside the box(pun intended) and coming up with something that is actually unigue. It isn't going to appeal to everyone, but nothing ever does.

They actually put a lot of thought in to this case if you look it over. You have perfect placement of the water cooling hose holes in the back. Cable management holes placement is perfect, hole for heat sink installation or water cooling block installation. Hard drive placement is genius for cable management purposes.

Enough room for everything like my water pump for instance. Plenty of fans for circulation. There can be no complaints about this case. This is by far the most thought out one I've seen in awhile now.

Lights are easily replaceable if you don't likem.

I had to custom out my Antec 1200 Case for my water cooling and my cables for my motherboard and for my hard drives cables. I turned my hard drives around backward to get those out of site. This case would be way easier to drop everything in to without having to use a dremel at all.

most cases with psu in the bottom has a ......hole/cutout for the psu's fan in the bottom, so i always place it with the fan down

so if you have a dog and a carpet, and the pc on the floor, it is suicide! In most other cases, it is ok 8)

Chronic diarrhea, man. He means this case is the shit.

Shit is right - it looks like something scooped out of the elephant enclosure at the zoo....

It really seems like a fake Level 10 to me, like a Chinese knockoff. Like how awesome the fake iPods from China look.

TT screws up so many things on so many levels, but sometimes manages at least to make them look good.

The removable drives appear cool and particularly functional, but why put each drive in an enclosure... why not put a nice shaped hatch over each one? Keep it simple, TT

I always wondered why people bashed TT, until I got my hands on some watercooling gear from them... crap! Products seem to be a Mish-mash of good ideas, Ok ideas and a few fatal flaws. And high prices.

I really don't understand why case designers don't take more ideas from companies like Lian Li and Silverstone. Silly, stupid, outrageous designs don't get you case sales (perfect example is InWin), functionality combined with reserved looks is what gets your cases sold. No one wants a case that looks like a spaceship reject, they want cases that are aesthetically sleek and have a functional design.

The Silverstone Fortress Series FT02B/W is a perfect example of how a case should be built. Not only because I have one, but because its 100% functional, quiet, and looks fantastic.

The Level 10 GT is ugly, the Level 10 was just dumb and stupid expensive for NO reason.

I can attest to that...I own a Kandalf L.C.S. Break your back just moving it...and yes the WC gear is pretty substandard...

Some very nice features on that case but damn that thing is FUGLY!

The haf x is a FUGLY plastic POS, this happens to be less ugly. If the price was $150-175 CAD I would probably buy it.

sorry but you need your eye's testing

does your head fit through a normal sized doorway ?

I suppose you have nothing better than trolling. Well Troll, when you have a love and passion for technology it can become an expensive hobby. My current Rig is the cheapest I have ever owned, and I decided I dont need to be on the bleeding edge of things anymore.

I suppose I hurt a softspot somewhere when I said the coolermaster HAF x is fugly, well to be honest both thermaltake and coolermaster make ugly goddy cases and this is coming from a person whom has owned several of them from both companies.

+1 The first decent price drop or sale would get one just because its so different. Would be a challenge to mod though But has some totally out in left field potential.
