Thermaltake & Studio F. A. Porsche Announce ARGENT E700 Real Leather Gaming Chair

It looks ugly to me for sure the E500 model is much healthier to sit on and looks nice. The price of $ 1200 to $ 1300 is overkill. It's like competing between PC equipment groups who will sell a more expensive office model. This is how we find the best office seats so far at several providers with PC gaming equipment. If
I had the money for it, I wouldn't buy it.:toast:

race seats make some of the worst comfortable seats around.

My friend used to drift cars back in the day, I sat in one of his drift cars one day with those race seats, my back was hurting within 10minutes. They are not designed for sitting in them for very long, they are designed to support the rider in certain positions for a short time or give support in a event of a crash.

That makes no sense races generally aren't "a short period time" sure a lap around a track may be a few minutes but a race consists of multiple laps and staging periods. Racing seats aren't one size fits all, you just sat in a mismatched seat is all.

Hi,

The problem is they're trying to manufacture these "gaming chairs" as 1-2 sizes fit all, which just isn't going to work for race car style chairs. Those seats race car drivers have in their vehicle probably costs $5k(or more) alone and are custom made to fit the driver.

Three words,....
