If you enter a keyword it overrides everything you could have entered in previous fields.
that's indeed how it currently works

Could we get collapsible forum sections? There are some I never ever read, and would welcome the possibility to shrink the list.

Feature suggestion: an alert for a post that you've been tagged in (alert already happens) but also when that post is subsequently edited, since the edit could be significant. Quite a few times, I've looked back over a thread and noticed a material edit to the post and sometimes I have to make them too. This should probably only happen after the initial 5 minutes a post has gone up, though.

We could go mad and say that edits for any posts in a thread that you're subbed in to send an alert, but I think that would likely be too many alerts.

I'll second that. Had one just like that a few minutes ago.

I think this is good too. If I make a significant edit I will actually go back and put the word EDIT before the new material.

Good Idea or maybe a Marker/flag/Font Colour change in the Recent Discussion panel (Thread) to indicate a post edit ?

While those "edit" ideas are great in theory, in practice the implementation of such would put a serious amount of extra workload on the servers and would run the risk of TPU's mail servers getting flagged as spam.

Oh boohoo you! :p I think W1z is best placed to answer the loading question, though. While it would undoubtedly go up, I really dunno by how much.

Sorry to rain on your parade. Reality must prevail..

I've administered a mail server and thus have some idea how much extra load we're talking about. Notifications for edits of comments would be a considerable extra amount, which TPU would get billed for.

502 downtime for me about 20min

. possibly more downtime coming
Thanks for the (impending ) warning

could the thread title be changed by colour to indicate edited posts in thread ( and changed back for reading of edited posts
Something like this i just spotted

I was hit with a 502 just 2mins ago. Did the server get hit by an emp?

The NVMe drive in one of our servers suddenly disappeared. Rebooted that node, the NVMe seems to be working again and it's resyncing the database now

Could be a loose cable or failing hardware maybe that caused this.

Perhaps when the edit is significant only, though i dunno how the system would "determine" that.

Speaking for myself, i generally make several edits to posts: mostly typos, but not always.

Perhaps a rule for ... say ... if a post was edited after 15 minutes from original post's time stamp, then those subscribed in the topic get a new alert.

What most definitely needs an alert is post merges, IMO.

There is no download link for "DRAM Calculator for Ryzen v.1.4.0.1".

Why do some reviews not show up in the reviews section of the forums? I see Athlon 2000GE in my RSS, but there isn't a thread anywhere here.
