I hardly do any SMS on my phone even now with unlimited texting or phone calls. My data allocation/cap gets more use, good thing AT&T switched to roll over for unused data cap.
 
I always do press to talk, as I never know when the wife is going to come in and holler "Hey you dumb bastard, are you still on that damn computer???????" :laugh:

the CT river is mostly Condoms, Soda Cans, Hurriedly disposed firearms, and Bodies(and my phone).....atleast it was when i lived near it in the 80's.:laugh: oh ....Massachusetts "the spirit of America"
 
Lol my mic is a headset mic on a $6 headset, it sucks but voice activation works fairly well.

It's a perma invite link. I keep it tucked away or use the now-pinned forum link. I can pin the invite in the server if you'd like.

Why not just give permissions to retrieve the link by right-clicking the server name like every other Discord server?

I can't even invite a Forum member to my voice channel. Why do you feel it is necessary to restrict the simplest permissions to use Discord's default features?

thanks @FordGT90Concept for linking this to me! Will be signing up tomorrow when head clears of this scotch. BTW thanks very much for helping me in the division earlier I had a lot of fun although I was quite squishie.....:)

Discord sometimes has wierd issues since its externally hosted, and the perma join link is in the first page and pinned messages in the general chat inside the server.
 
a few things did change, notably all images are now blocked by Privacy Badger by default and uBlock Origin blocks the cloudfront portion by default. That means those things have fallen into the untrusted category
 
I'm not familiar with these services but can you report the problem to them and see if they can get it unblocked? Images uploaded to Discord are hosted on the cdn.discordapp.com domain.

I'm sure W1zzard would do it but then the Discord server would lure non-members looking for help. I guess a decision would have to be made between maintaining the small community status quo or turning it into a service of TPU.
 
I think just keeping discord for TPU users is best.

That's the plan, but I've seen at least one person get an account on TPU just to be valid to join the server.
