Windows 95 and 98 Updates Restored:

I will start this out with my old Asus P5A Super Socket 7 Motherboard and AMD K6-2 350mhz

I purchased these items on 02/02/1999. I paid $199.99 for the motherboard and $149.99 for the K6-2:wtf::wtf::wtf::laugh:

Put up your picture and I will include you in the club on the original post

Okay, I know these next items are not really what could be called "nostalgic" however they are getting rare and getting pretty old in computer technology. My Grandson and I are going to build this for him (he is 8:p). He is just so into computers and all the gear that goes along with it. The motherboard is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium s939 sporting a dual core Athlon 64 3800+ with a Thermaltake Blue Orb II and running 2gb's of crucial DDR400 ram.

The video cards are of course EVGA 8800GTX SuperClocked. One of the cards I picked up from the original owner with the original box and all the accessories, and the other is a matching card but no box.

When the grandson and I get this together, it should really be a pretty sweet system. Will be putting Windows XP on the system, since that is what the little guy is used to:p

Thanks to our very own member LiNKiN I now have an awesome ATI 9800 Pro AGP to add to the collection!!!!! Thanks a ton man. :rockout:

Wow, just about forgot this crazy 5 1/2" Quantum BigFoot 1.2gb hard drive! LOL. God these things were crazy drives in their day! Heavy as hell.

Now here is a couple of items that I found yesterday that I just had to share LOLOL

And some DOS goodness:

And thanks to our own member ThE_MaD_ShOt I now have an awesome Abit NF7 with a mobile XP2400+ to add to the images!!!! Thanks a ton bro!!!:respect::respect::respect:

Okay just picked this combo up today from the shop that I am currently at:

Have had this a couple of years now. I guess one could sort of consider a GTX560 as nostalgic? LOL

The Ole Alienware:

Specs are:
Asus P5Q-E
QX9550
4 gigs DDR2 1600
500 gig Seagate Constellation
EVGA 8800GTX

Now 3 pictures :)

Grabbed this new in box unopened Opteron 275 for the cost of shipping!

Member list was getting so long that I put it in a spoiler for everyone.

If i ever get chance again or bother to dig things out, i have a similar old Alienware tower to you, except it has EVGA parts including an nForce motherboard that's a pain to get the RAID drivers working with newer OS installs and 3x500GB Seagate HDDs that in RAID 0 managed 210MB/s in 2008 lol

Also had an EVGA GeForce 8800 Ultra, did have a pair in SLI but one died, though i could throw a couple of 9800GT+ cards in there.. Stuck a Xeon in as well that runs at 3GHz stock modded for Socket 775, it actually works too. PSU is 1000Watt but very custom. And the lighting has apparently acted weird since it was new 17 years ago o_O

Proudest possessions of old though include a Socket A motherboard with KT880 chipset, Dual Socket A and Socket 370, a Quad Pentium 100MHz server i bet you'd love to see, as well as the LGA775 ALi chipset board that has AGP and PCIe, which you can use at the same time if one card is single slot! I had a 9700 Pro running next to an X850 SE PCIe lol I also have an old 486 board as well as a few 286 machines and even some Amiga systems :D

It turns out these SCA drives are usable with SCA > SCSI adapters... Guess i will get most of these then... They may be bricks, but they are also durable af... And can be used for older systems such as 386, 486, s7, Slot 1....

Cleaning an Model M USA made... These ones i got are in very good condition, no battle dmg, no rust, no missing or broken stuff, cables are still there and whole... One of the keyboards is of the rare ones with white barrel plate, how nice as far as i know the white barrel plate ones are way more durable then the black ones..

Gotta safe these screws, and not lose them..
