I'm not sure it's great. I had ABIT KT7-RAID board with VIA chipset (KT133) and I had nothing but trouble with it if I wanted nvidia graphic cards (GF4Ti). Radeons were ok (8500LE), no "Fast Writes"...
KG7 is AMD 760 though, and the only issue I might have to account for is RAM (supposedly only ECC RAM would work) but I think I can figure that out from my previous experiences with Gigabyte's 7DXE.

Nice to see you getting these old PC parts. Over here in my country they started to sell it at high price because they know some people buying it for retro build. Asshole.

Thanks, I had 2 hours of free time to switch between trains, so I figured I'd do a wild adventure into Bucharest's 3rd Sector (@droopyRO, @Robert B and probably fellow Romanians know where that is lol) and get myself a few goodies.
I already was planning on buying the V3 3k and Banshee via courier but the chap I got them from agreed to hand them to me personally and that I would pay them via bank transfer.
As for the ones paid upfront, they are the MSI and the V3 2k PCI. I also gotta stop by Brasov's car boot sale to check it out. I've seen @Robert B 's stories and always wondered what those car boot sales he goes to must've been like - I had my own fair share of those gold mines but I always wanted to check out some more - Brasov and namely Cluj Napoca's, with the latter being said to be rich in HW as well. The ones I generally managed to attend were in Iasi, Bacau (my hometown) and Arad. , with the last two being more frequent than the first.

Those forums are all Amiga focused and might be of more assistance on this particular issue you're having. I wish I could be of more help here.

Thanks for all that info Lex.Mine is the latest one .
I only want to read a disc.I will join the general Amiga forum.I swapped the cable over so the twisted side of the cable is on the GreaseWeazle. Still no light on the floppy drive and no sound when i put a floppy In. Apparently there used to be one called Catweazle which was many years ago the predecessor to the GreaseWeazle. but it cost a arm and leg. There was also a tv series called Catweazle back in the early 70,s here in the uk ,which i used to watch when i was knee high to a grasshopper:roll:
I have joined.

Floppy drive works fine on retro pc, but solid light on GreaseWeazle cabal is the right way red on the outside.Another floppy drive no light on same cabal used in the right way red on the outside. This is the same cabal as used for testing on the Retro board.Hope it has nothing to do with the Greasewezle.I signed up to join a Amiga forum ,they are taking there time to say i am a member ,then i can ask them there.

I have just put this in there
I am trying to get GreaseWeazle started .First thing is i have two floppy drives both have been tested and working on a retro PC.When connected to the GreaseWeazle one has a solid light the other one has no light on at all.I have same cabal i used on the Retro PC.It is a crossed one crossed side in the GreaseWeazle, the red stripe os on the our side of both drives.U have downloaded the 1.20 version off get hub and extracted the file.I have got as far as opening Windows Powershell typed in cmd
after that i typed gw and entered it then it said
*gw is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file*I am stuck at this point. And what os the situation about the drives?I hope someone can help me.
*There very few people on the site. One member and 36 guests.I can,t see myself getting much joy from the site :(Perhaps i should try gethub.

I just tried to join gethub and had to do this stupid test,i don,t know what it is all about.I just want to join the forum for christ.s sake.:banghead:

An audio Captcha, that's a first. Click the 'Visual' button & see if it asks you to find the buses or bridges. (I hate those stupid wastes of time).

In my case i wondered if it was because i use a VPN ,but i should think most of us do.

Do you know how i can sort this out?
And why should the drive have a solid light on all time? The cable is in the right way Red stripe on the left on both devices .This is a working drive tested on one of my retro boards with the same cable. My other drive has no light on when connected the same way.I asked Chris Mr Amiga he said use a normal cable but it still had the light on just the same.

Hey everyone,
This is my first post here! I want to share with you this "retro-modern" setup where I’ve got Windows 98 working with a mix of old and new hardware. (and it's perfectly stable) I’m using an old-school PCI-E NVIDIA 7900GS (and sometimes a Voodoo 3 PCI) alongside an RTX card when I boot into Windows 10. Everything checks out perfectly, and I even managed a solid score in 3DMark 2001 without any overclocking.

Looks like you are making some headway, seeing the ZOOL splash screen.
Personally I have no experience with emulators or trying to copy/run those Amiga disks.

A few days ago I installed windows millennium on my retro pc and already it's broken. At the startup I get a message saying that Explorer.exe is broken and that I need to reinstall Windows. Lol. Looks like I'm going Windows 98
There's a legend that Windows Me is more sensitive when mixing .wdm and .vxd drivers. For instance, if you have a sound card that supports both types of drivers, it’s best to use .wdm in Windows Me. I've read many comments saying that brand-new PCs with Windows Me preinstalled were just as stable as Windows 98. The real issue seemed to be with older drivers not specifically made for Me but used anyway.

Personally, I had a good experience with Windows Me back then. I took the time to install it on modern hardware (bare metal) with a PCI-E ATI card. (only first gen are compatible) Interestingly, this time around, the ATI drivers were officially made only for Windows Me and not Windows 98...

most of the discs have been 100% on read this one was only 94% o don,t know where you go from here Wordworth or because it has only gone to 94% it want go any further.I could not get ZOOL to go further than that picture ,although that read 100%.I suppose if it is less than 100% read it is not worth keeping.Anyone on here know about Amiga discs?

I am not having much success with getting floppy Amiga discs to work quite a few with missing flies and one disc only getting 10% on read ,and some going to 100% and when o try to play them it says it is non bootable. The last one found 0 sectors of 1760 ). 0%?And that was one of the ones i bought on eBay ,i want be getting any more unless they are dirt cheap. At least i got it working.

I take it this one want work

I don,t understand why this disc reads 100% yet gets stuck on this yellow ? Could it be something to do with the message on 2374?

This us ment to be Lemmings does anyone know what is going on?

I used this as a standard part of every XP install I did BITD.
As mentioned in the video, anyone wanting to try this out on their XP machines can follow the link below;
