TPU's Rosetta Milestones and Daily Pie Thread

Rosetta has always seemed to act a little strange and such, I've never really understood its stability, but if anyone is interested, a link below is for the server stats page.. It seems that the work is going down as units are being finished, but nothing new so far is going to be pushed out I guess... Maybe they just have smaller batches than WCG and it will take longer to get pushed out, maybe smaller team/company owned I'm guessing??

Sadly no stats for today (18th October 2024) either Have to wait another day for them....

The alternative stats page, Boincstats didn't pick any changes in our points either so the problem most likely a Rosetta one. The past two weeks they started to issue new jobs late Friday after a similar patten of paused validators. As to who is producing new jobs there have been no information to my knowledge since the Covid run some years back.

Well there we go, not sure what was going on with the stats yesterday, but we seem to have a few points today, so great work there guys!! The server stats not looking so great with the numbers ....

But, here's hoping a few more will be released around the corner Hope everyone is doing well and is OK Take care everyone!! See you soon!!

Well there we are for another day with Rosetta.. Not too bad but definitely not great considering only 3 of us have managed some work... Wonder if it's something to do with the server stats below....

I'm gonna guess so!! Well there we are, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for Rosetta Take care everyone!! Hope you are all OK!

And there we are have a bit of an uplift, which is great to see! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK?? It seems the server stats have improved slightly since yesterday....

Well there we are, not a bad turn out for Rosetta considering, but I am a little confused that it seems the numbers for in progress, do appear to be going up on the server stats....

But the queued jobs, still show 0.... Said times.... I hope everyone is doing well and is OK... Take care and hope to see you tomorrow for another update!!

And they did - you got 42 jobs, I got around 90, @xrobwx71 27 I think and @Peter1986C and his NUC still had 12 jobs in the pipeline, from yesterday.

Well well, there we are for a massive update for the Rosetta Pie stats!! Great work everyone!! Just shy of a 155,000 points today, that's amazing!! I hope everyone is doing well and is OK? Here's the server stats for the day again....

You can sure but do that @Toothless but for todays update (31st October 2024), there's no results so I might just hold off for the moment I'm not sure what is happening over at Rosetta, but there was a lot of red on the server pages, so I'm guessing something not quite working as best it should....

So we'll just leave that here and hope that crunching and results are going to come a little later maybe.....

@phill There is no surprise there. This, that the jobs are not validated, happened the past four-six weeks. Sometime during the week the validator was stopped and restarted Friday/Saturday. You have 28 pending validation, some more than 1000, @Toothless is sure to get a nice piece of pie soon

Like mstenholm mentioned it seems to happen every Wednesday the past month or two. It's usually the same 13 server process that it happens to. At least we are still getting work to process this time around, and in another day or two the validator should come back on line and we should see a nice bump in our output.

Well, what would you like me to say??! Definitely our highest ever day score but I think that's a few days pumped in together.... On the other side of things, here's the server stats page.....
