That's why at least in memory's case I'm excited for Chinese products. Do it. Steal our tech. Undercut them. At least we'll get cheaper products.

Last year was about $10 per GB for non-samsung-b-die. Of recent, common sales it's closer to about $5 per GB. On newegg, some 16gb 3200c14(b-die) kits are ~$170.

This has nothing to do with demand shortfall. MRAM is about to hit primetime and the memory cartel just didn't want to set another Nvidia precedent...
