Thanks to a discovery by TweakTown, we have obtained game footage pictures of the Ubisoft Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. While TweakTown does not share any video links due to respect for Ubisoft developers, we still get to see the medieval-themed Assassin's game. It is mostly resembling a Witcher 3 vibe, which is a good thing. Combining the gameplay of classic Assassin's Creed game with stunning visuals, the game is set to be a hit. Right off the bat, the game starts in a bloody and chaotic battle. On the battlefield, there is lots of equipment you can interact with, like a siege engine and battering rams. Being that the setting is a medieval one, there are of course castles that you need to overtake. Ubisoft may officially launch game footage at its Forward event on July 12th, when we could take a closer look at the upcoming game. For now, please check out the pictures below.

Ubisoft so confident in their new game that they aren't releasing any in-game footage.

Hmmm, is that confidence or...?

It will look like Assassins Creed, just like all previous Assassins Creed games

Are we supposed to believe the Vikings are the good guys now... they are really prolonging the Assassin Creed series.

O hope this one has more consistency with it.

Some hope but hell no i do not trust UBI the slightest. I will wait untill it's cheap or on a really nice sale.

How ever the Brits were not either.

They only rape, murder and pillage after written consent.

They only rape, murder and pillage after written consent of the family.

Corrected

but i bet there was without too though.

There was a lot more to vikings then pillaging, its just that for some reason that is what people latch on to.
Its just simpler that way, like with view on the Romans and the Greek and the Mongolians.

lol copying Witcher 3 for the 3rd time in a row it would seem.

Yep. The last two didn't even feel like Assassin's Creed games, just open world combat games that copied Witcher 3's mechanics. So glad I didn't buy those. Don't plan to buy this one, either. As you said, I don't trust Ubisoft in the slightest, either. Easily one of my most disliked devs / pubs.

That POS website is still around.

Those are not game leaked pictures, those are nothing but PR released pictures that tweaker-town got from the game company. That POS website got it from the game company to post it on their website. What a joke of a website.

And had you actually played either of them instead of reading negative comments you’d likely see they were the best in the series. It’s disingenuous to say what a game is without having played it. The earlier games especially, despite being groundbreaking in their time had serious gameplay issues . At least Ubi recognized something that absolutely worked and emulated it.

Vallhalla might suck indeed, but neither you nor I can say with any authority until we play it.

The last AC have I played was "black flag", and even that I did it of curiosity, I really dislike what they did with the game. I hope the new one doesn't look like in the pics, a cartooney feeling doesn't suit this game.
Btw, the Vikings didn't do any more pillaging and rapeing than everybody else, that was the norm back then. They also created exceptional art and managed to explore places that others would explore after centuries.

I have most of AC games, most of them played for a couple of hours before I got bored, the only exceptions are AC Origin and AC Odyssey (you can see the theme here...), honestly, the people who are boycotting these two games just because their gameplay and UI is inspired by The Witcher 3 and many other games with successful gameplay mechanics are really missing one of the most polished gameplay experience, I have put around 100 hours in each of these two AC games and I have yet to complete them. From a historical perspective and authenticity there is no game in the market that can rival them, it's different to read about Ancient Egypt and Greece and actually seeing how their buildings and cultures looked like, so overall great games.

About Valhala, I am not sure what to expect, the previous two games had more historical material to work with, am not sure what you can say about the Vikings other than pillaging and setting up settlements, also I hope it won't have some sort of political agenda that is shoved down our throats like most games that come from EA and other American game companies these days, AC Odyssey already had some feminism elements but it was only in the mercenary system in which most of the mercenaries and bounty hunters were burly females, the rest of the combatants were more authentic.

One last thing, am not playing this until end of 2021 anyway, I always buy singleplayer games a year after their release, by that time the game would have been patched many times, have a couple of DLC to bolster the fun and overall cheaper, so yeah am gonna have lots of fun with Cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhala is Q3-Q4 2021.

I've played both Origins & Odyssey. You made a similar comment like this in another thread a while back where I also let you know that. Best in the series? Absolutely not. Easily toward the bottom in both cases for me.

TBH i am all for it, how ever it's gotta be both ways not the one sided bias BS.
