Anyone use Ultra? I cant find much on them.
I've used total of five Ultra power supplies over the years, two modular ones (from the eye-catching Titanium series) and three non-modular ones. I've never had any problems with them. Never had a piece of hardware attached to them die or had the power supplies themselves die on me. Also, Ultra are the only ones to offer lifetime warranty on their power supplies upon registration. (You get only one year if you don't register.) That's pretty extraordinary. With that said I've heard some horror stories about Ultra power supplies over at HardForum, but again myself I've experienced zero problems with them.
I'm very pleased w/ my Ultra PSU and can recommend them, great price, great product.
Mine feels very solid, supplies very stable power and really is great IMO. Never had a single PSU related problem with it.
I think the others like Cosair are just about brand name more than anything else, but that's just my opinion (and not factoring in the efficiency, of course the 80+ gold are the best).
