You must install a driver from version 3.15 onward
Sorry but that i knew, but you still can not use the -f command on the Windows Version on Navi21.

OK, if you have the intended BIOS from sapphire and were able to flash it and it still does not work, then the card has an Hardware defect and you should not bother with flashing anything else.
as I told, it´s not a 2nd hand card. I´m the first owner, and i had 2 last year, after a f****ng Windows semi update what I didnt succsessfully finished, there was no video output more...
interesting white the exact same card where not connected at that moment where I fuck*d up with the Windows download, and it worked normaly ... 1+1

Sorry but that i knew, but you still can not use the -f command on the Windows Version on Navi21. You can try it if you want.
don´t worry I´m also familiar with Linux =), lets try there ...
I was trying the Tutorial like MASTER @eidairaman1 wrote =) thx dude

Ok Gentleman, let´s try in Linux to force it =)

I will make screenshoots =)
OK, I just use a install of ubuntu and download the amdvbflash for linux, wich you can also get on Techpowerup if you prefer. then go to the terminal and type "sudo su" and enter your root password. then cd to your download folder and use "chmod +x /path/to/your/file.txt" on the "amdvbflash" or use the gui and rightclick the app and tick the "Allow executing file as program."
5ea5F.png

then you should be able to run the "./amdvbflash -f -p 0 <file>" command.

good luck

what is AMD Master? you mean Ryzen Master or?

In Ubuntu you don´t need a driver to flash an RX 6000 card and the card should show up if you do the ./amdvbflash -i

maybe you need to chmod 777 the amdvbflash
Did you use the latest Ubuntu 21.10? i never tried it with older versions.

Sorry but that i knew, but you still can not use the -f command on the Windows Version on Navi21.
First thing use amdvbflash -i to id the gpu, whether it is 0, 1, 2 etc (that is the identifier number)
Then use amdvbflash -unlockrom 0, 1, 2 etc.

Then amdvbflash -p -fa -fs- fp 0, 1, 2 (number identifier) then the biosname

Just for fun i recreated your instructions step by step and by the first flashing step you had your first error, because the adapter identifier musst stand directly after the -p command, if i corrected this error, you got another one, because the - is on the wrong spot, if i corrected this error also, i get the same predictable message that -f or in this case -fs: "-fs option not support in external version of the tool."

So please finally believe me when i say the -f command is not possible on Navi 21 Cards on the Windows version of amdvbflash

and I 2/3 done if this is what it is ....

@ lowrider_05
I belive you that i cant force the -f command under windows, thats why I switched to Linux yesterday ... in hwinfo i show me a rx 6800 xt but in amdvbflash it didnt show me my first GPU the rx 470 ....
in my case i had to - p 1 write because 0 is the rx 470 ....

unfortunately we really can't help you with that. YOU usually just use the latest ATIFlash for Windows 10 from AMD then it should be possible to flash the BIOS without any problems.

The BIOS was requested by us directly from the BIOS team at the factory and delivered from there - to match your memory. The BIOS is definitely correct.

With best regards

I´M REALLY CONFUSED ... SAPHIRE ASSERT THAT THESE FILES ARE 1000% THE CORRECT FACTORY BIOS FILES BUT UNFORTUNATELY I GET AN ERROR; BECAUSE I AM NOT A FACTORY :(

Hello to @eidairaman1 @Totally and anyone else willing to assist on the matter. I am having the same issue with a Sapphire Nitro+ 6800XT that has failed to display an image on my monitor after numerous troubleshooting steps, including flashing the BIOS as suggested by a technician who looked at my GPU recently.

the VBIOS that I originally had on there was P/N 113-438XTN-US5 / NAVI21EXT Gaming XT D412
I have flashed the VBIOS with every available 113-4308XTN-*** rom I could find online from TechPowerUp, and nothing has solved this issue.

Funny enough, prior to flashing I was doing some troubleshooting through TeamViewer on another device and my GPU was suddenly displaying as normal even after disconnecting. Of course, this didnt stay after restarting my computer.

I was told the last step would be replacing the BIOS chip directly on the board of the GPU, but I am hoping for some expertise on the matter that could assist further before resorting to those extremes.

I was shunned against the idea of starting a new thread since this problem has already been discussed elsewhere (here), but I'll try again

Assumption is the mother of all fuckups. Some people think they have the exact same issue but the root cause can be different.
If the solution for your problem was listed here, you already would have used it. Please create a new thread then I will happily assist you.
