yes, crossfire on a nvidia sli board was confirmed by voodoo a long time ago on Rahul's blog. both brands shared a common uli south bridge, therefore making this possible.
This isnt on an uli though, its on a 680i, my guess is voodoo have known how to hack the drivers to make it work for a while, but with the weight of hp behind it, nvidia wont be able to sue them into oblivion/buy the company
