Specs:
Intel 6750
Foxconn G45 Motherboard
OCZ PC800 2gig
Sound Blaster Audigy2
ATI HD3850
Core-FX Wall Mount Case

This case was made out of the need to have my computer wall mounted. The reason for this is that the only thing my tv stand was being used for was to hold the media center computer. I looked around but could only find metal box style cabinets, nothing that I would deem "wife worthy". I designed this case in Solidworks. The parts are outside my manufacturing specs so I had to have them made at a manufacturer. The case only utilizes two 80mm fans, one intake at the bottom, one exhaust at the top. Since the case is so open on the inside, this amount of airflow is sufficient. My proc temps don't go above 62c while prime95 stressing. Video doesn't go above 70c while gaming. I tried both a tinted black cover and a frosted white cover to see how they would look. Best part is that since the covers are acrylic, I can put all my wireless receivers for the remote, keyboard, and mouse inside the case, and behind the wall, (the rf receivers didn't do so well inside the case, IR ones did just fine though).
Best part of it is my wife actually likes it. Without the tv stand, the room really opened up much more than I anticipated. If she is happy, thats all that matters!

Pretty nice idea my good sir. The only thing I have to remark on is the blue LED fans. Not too hot actually.
To me, it kinda throws off the tv just a tad. Just my opinion.
But very good nonetheless :)

wow brilliant idea and great construction, I really love it. But it is funny that the rf remote isnt working but the ir is hah. You should also post the e-drawing file.
10/10

I do agree. The blue fans have gone away since this picture was taken. I now have a touch sensor triggering all LED's inside the case so they can all be off. There are alot of lighting scenario's I have yet to test out with this thing.

thats what I wanted to do for my dad for a LONG LONG time, your good

Thanks! Yeah, I was pretty embarassed when I reallized why the rf receivers wouldn't work until they were 6" from the case, quite the duh moment there:)

Glad you like it 1nf1n1ty. I did have extra's made and they are available on my website http://www.corecaseworks.com. You can also see some video's of this one being installed so you can see whats involved in the installation.

Pretty frickin cool! 10/10 from me.

its very nice, looks like it was really well designed, good luck on some sales. for me this would be far too expensive and it looks rather large tbh. but very nice design and innovation.

Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated. I am working on a new model that will only protrude 1 inch from the wall, but it will only accommodate half height cards and a 1U power supply.

Sweet Design..but the

bottom line.....Happy Wife, Happy Life! Definitely 10/10!
