That's a very good one.
I've been a big fan of Black Mesa project ever since its inception. Played the first iteration of the campaign, when it was free and not under Valve's caring wing, then bought it on Steam when it finally got released.
I still have to do some achievement hunting. Only 2 left for 100% (guess which ones ). I think the biggest barrier to both is in-game physics. You can't carry anything that large over long ladders.
I'm wondering if it got fixed in the latest patch...

I got a free Black Ops 6 early beta test code since my Dad has Comcast Cable and they did a promotion (I did not pre-order the game), I only played about five hours of it though because I found it to be very underwhelming. Also, the graphics didn't impress me at all. I'm still hoping to play the campaign on PC Game Pass someday though. Can someone please tell me why MW3 Remastered graphics look 10x better than blops 6? nonsense companies these days with their upscaling garbage

FFXIV Dawntrail, finished story was a 8/10 for me in the end, it ended up redeeming itself in the end, still not as good as previous expansions though because of the main story flaw about 50% of the way in, which I made an entire thread about if you are interesting: Anger Post lol

MW3 Remastered Campaign on PC Game Pass 9/10, damn it was good, graphics were insane, level design was fantastic, and yeah awesome campaign. So glad game pass is so cheap so I can enjoy this kind of stuff (multiplayer never interested me, so its just a win win situation with PC Game Pass).

Against the Storm, on PC Game Pass, 9/10 - innovative RTS, I enjoyed it

I tried WoW free to play to level 20 again to see if I wanted to maybe come back for War Within, nope, 1/10, nostaliga is one helluva drug. Glad I didn't waste my money, last expansion I played is still Cata, and I think it will remain so moving forward.

Diablo 2 Remaster was on sale for $13, I grabbed that since I never played it before, its alright, but I still have a ways to go.

I played some more Diablo IV on PC Game Pass, it was fun, but I am not dropping 70 on it and the expansion, when I can get both for like 35 bucks I will grab it though, I am in no rush. Looking forward to the expansion someday on sale.

Wild Hearts on PC Game Pass, 5/10, just wasn't for me. TO be fair, I never was a fan of the Monster Hunter genre.

Age of Mythology Retold on PC Game Pass, 9/10 - will buy this on steam whenever it hits like 15 bucks in a couple years. The graphics are fantastic, and I am really enjoying working my way through the campaign at the moment on my 7900 XT 7800x3d rig.

Only other game I am playing right now is Atlas Fallen, and I am enjoying that so far. The combat is a bit lackluster so far, but I am hoping it will improve. If it doesn't I may end up DNF'ing

Now with my main GPU back functional, gotta grind the crap out of CarX Street (a cheap grindy open world racer with NFS vibes and crappy physics that's kinda easy to understand) and TDUSC (an expensive grindy open world racer with crappy physics that's much more difficult to understand)!

Improvements? Well, it's not paced as slow movement/physics wise as the original MW3 (imo), the graphics are just ******* insane, honestly the most gorgeous graphics I have ever seen in a campaign in my entire life. The campaign is just executed flawlessly, it is so satisfying. Only downside, like most CoD campaigns, it's short as fk... 6 hours I think is what I clocked. I ended up replaying it a couple of times, just because I couldn't get over the graphics.

I'm usually not a graphics whore, I love plenty of indie games with pixel graphics, but man this game is just next level. If you play on an IPS you may not be blown away, a 4000:1 or 5000:1 VA or OLED though, and holy crap is it nice on the eyes. The opening castle scene... jaw dropping.

Really wish Activision would give us a full 40+ hour single player experience, preferably in the Infinite Warfare universe @WhiteNoise knows what I am talking about it! I know that will never happen, but yeah, the graphics and gameplay are just top notch.

After completing Forbidden West I've decided to have a final playthough of Cyberpunk 2077 on its very hard setting, it's a shame there wasnt more content for this now pretty amazing game. I've played it since launch and it has come such a long way from where it started. With this playthrough all settings are pretty much maxed, no motion blur, dlss quality, pathtracing, ray reconstrustion and frame gen are enabled. I spend more time just walking about and looking at the reflections, lights, etc, it really is nice.

Pretty much.

Pointlessly grinding my way the last few places into top 25 on FH5 Hide and Seek leaderboard. Almost entirely sure dev made some Friday night changes that limit people like me who were super motivated and capable of effecting the outcome of a match by themselves.

And my god is the game boring. Prequel was one of the best games I played in the last 10 years, but this... Finished "The Reckoning" quest with Freya after 15 hours. Realized that I am on 1/3 on main story and really hoping it will become more exciting and better, since I almost rage-quit in Jotunheim when riding on ox for 2 bloody hours.

Slowly making progress in Warhammer Martyr 'around lvl 30 atm' and also playing from one save point till the next in Callisto Protocol. 'I actually kind of like the game so far'
Other than that I'm busy playing my free2play gachas as usual, have to say Wuthering Waves is my big 2024 surprise.
Yeh its a gacha but it doesn't force it up on you since even the free characters are capable once leveled/geared up and if I can pull a limited character every 2-3 months then I'm all good.
The side stories and events are great and the cut scenes are simply amazing at this point. 'combat is insanely fun and addictive at least for me as an ex Vindictus player'

Just finished (again) Dishonored Definitive Edition (with the 3 DLC) on PC.
Again a lot of fun. Graphics still holds up very well, thanks to very good artistics choices.
It runs perfectly.
Gameplay is perfect, I played like a NinjAssassin, direct kill anyone.
I know it's better with the stealth route, but I'm not so patient.
Some reminisence of Deus Ex with the multiple path / design.
Took me about 15 hours with the 2 DLC (I pass the Dunwall City Trials DLC, not my taste, very stealth oriented, the 2 others : The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches really worth it !)
Voices are top notch too : Susan Sarandon, Lena Headey, Carrie Fisher, Brad Dourif, Micheal Madsen , Chloë Grace Moritz ... and April Stewart (at least half of the women's voices in South Park !)

Lookin at this screen reminds me some Thief feelings.

En route to the Golden Cat, an oasis of Luxure in a plague devasted city !

The game can sometimes gives a depressive feeling as you crawl often with rats in the sewers, like Hope is vain and dead.

The Brigmore Domain, a nice mission in this abandoned house full of witches !

looked it up. This gives me prototye vibes, of the flow the kills etc. I really hope so. there arent any games that had such well flowing combat like prototype.

On to the next thing. On top of being severely nerfed compared to every other player in a match. Blatant teleporting and other exploits/hacks/cheatmods were on show tonight. Bringing a conclusive end to any interest in continuing FH5 Hide and Seek. I look forwards to my prompt displacement multiple tens of thousands out of contention in the rankings.

Spot on, mate. Played "1st" GoW for 90+ hours, really enjoying it and collect/discovery everything. Now for 2 days I cannot make myself to continue. But will force myself and try to end it speedrun style because I really like to know how it "ends" since I did not see any spoilers or YT videos or read wiki.
