What is your oldest PC component/peripheral that you still use today

Interesting question.

I think a Samsung ssd 500GB is the oldest part in my pc. I never thought to replace it or just remove it after I bought a second nvme.

But anyway, most of the parts in my pc are not technologically new-new.

whole custom system I built in 2012 that's my hubby's pc/media pc
oldest so far as release date:
Dell Inspiron E1505 (vista era) as my frutiger aero machine

and I have so many random logitech mice and keyboards I don't even know what to do w them so much wireless keyboards and mice that I forget what recievers go to what mice and it's a mess lol!

and some old dell keyboard I used connected to a dell venue tablet so I can reset the password to anchent mint install to update packages. ho le hell it's still on 19.1! just did that last week

and some old xbox 360 controller to test a game with...

a macbook fried my old sandisk 1gb drive... as well as another... was a work one back in 2007 that company that issued the macbook sucks balls and I think they are a goner too lmao

1) Cooler Master Cosmos RS1000 housing my main rig. Drive cages removed. Previous owner prepped the front panel for 3x140mm mounts, but at some point in the future I plan to redo it for something different and much cooler, along with making a custom front IO panel w/ Type-C and few USB3.0 ports.

2) Logitech G5. It's still alive, and it's my daily driver at the office. Pretty much unkillable.
There's a very old refurb. log in my sig, if anyone's interested. Haven't done anything to it since v2.
... and I still have all weights for it.

3) An old Nokia SD card. It's a whooping 64MB!
I think it's nearing its 20th birthday soon(probably older than some of our fellow TPUers

).
Still using it frequently for various microcontroller projects, flashing 3D Printers, RC remotes etc. etc. etc.

On my desk I keep an emac from 2001. Not so much an Apple fan these days but I still have a soft spot for some of the older stuff, and its crt screen is great for emulators.

In my main pc... I think it would be the one mx500 thats from 2020. Unless the monitor counts, thats from ~2015.

1080p 60Hz Samsung monitor from 12 years ago. Counter-strike-2 has 400 FPS now. So 340 of FPS are wasted. I will buy 1440p 240Hz later. Or maybe 4k 120 Hz. For whatever RTX 4070 can do.
