Finished building my own keyboard. Function keys including arrows, shift, caps, ctrl etc are Jade Greens and all other keys are Cherry Browns.
personalized custom mech KB are a rabbit hole ... welcome to it (and nice avatar btw )
tho ... drop the Cherries ... they are overrated ... ;) (semi joking ... i have a KB with cherry brown ... and some silver on my fight box, tho i find Cherry to be too expensive compared to some of the new players )
oh, and is that a GMMK? (because it look like the GMMK 1st gen i have aside )

more bits incoming for the Rock 4 C+

second remote and a MK/B ( i have an Airmouse from Minix ... but airmouse are a bit annoying compared to true trackpad )

65% KB transport sleeve ... because why not ... it could fit my Thock75 or my Lofree Edge i reckon

also update on the HAGiBiS and Ally case ...

when you realise that HAGiBiS bundle extra magnetic rings ....
20250118_085022.jpg

but then you realise that the MC100 Pro also have one extra USB-C ...

WOOOHOOOOOO near 7TB ally!!!!!

now i really need to find a 64WH+ battery mod ...

Ja GMMK. I much prefer Cherry over these other brands. Though, the Jade Greens are not bad. I have another keyboard with all Cherry Blues and that is still my favorite.

well, the Succubus from Flame Skull became my favorite, silent and quite good for the price, i will replace the Kaihl black box on my Thock75 asap ...
i got 3 35 pces set of them for less than 30chf which was even cheaper than a 120 pces Gateron red i bought for my GMMK Gen 1, which were as good as the Cherry MX red and even cheaper at the time

i quite liked my Roccat TKL with the Cherry MX brown ... tho ;)

Kaihl was my first non cherry brand i ever tested, they came close or even superiors to Cherry quite soon

my current ranking : Flame Skull Succubus>Kaihl POM 2.0 (the LP switches on my Lofree Edge)>Kaihl Box Black>Cherry MX Silver>Cherry MX Brown>Gateron Red>Yusia Red>Kaihl Yellow>Redragon Clicky Blue(Outemu)

Purchased my last upgrades for my trusty AM4 rig - Ryzen 7 5700X3D, 64GB RAM and a RTX 4070 Super while they were on sale for the holidays.

What did you upgrade from? Would love to hear your experience with the upgrade. As for me, the 5800X3D has been a blast! I thought i might give it a try on a dead-end platform (AM4) for a couple of years but the way its going this could easily carry me well beyond AM5's lifespan.

I actually went from R5 3600 to R5 5600 then R7 5700X3D. I like the smoother game play, even at lower frame rates. I also needed to upgrade the CPU because I felt the R5 5600 would bottleneck the 4070 Super. Seemed like a win-win with not having to go to the extra expense of AM5. I have undervolted both and I really like the lower temps and power draw without sacrificing much in the way of performance. I am using an ID-Cooling SE-226-XT cooler for the 5700X3D and the temps are in the upper 40s to mid 50s most of the time.

Welp, im returning it via courier to the retailer on monday..

Seagate drives are good, and specially the Exos if that wasn't clear and the performance is higher for cheaper than any WD drive at the same price.

I am just honest I hope that's no shame because Seagate support is just a nightmare even being the EU they wanted me to apply to US Law and I was laughing my ass off because that's something they shouldn't tell me when I am in the EU.

Will you run the XTX with the Seasonic 650W listed in your specs? Good luck with that, I couldn't with a lesser quality 750W unit.

My PC is idling at 60W, and when I run Prime95 on all cores (unrealistic load), consumption jumps to 220W-something. I am sure there is enough headroom for that card, especially since I aim to undervolt it and severely limit the boost frequency.

My Windows experience has been very frustrating. I was having an issue on my main desktop and thought it was a virus until the same thing happened to my laptop and HTPC. My main rig is to the point where the PC turns and the monitor is turned on but no picture. At the end the MB even told me I had no NVME drives installed.

Dunno but I have never had any non WD hdd last on me more than a few weeks. Took a chance just to be reminded i should've never bought another hdd brand :p Just waiting a bit for the money to be returned now and i'll be -likely- getting some WD drive this time even tho they are a bit more expensive. You get what you pay for in the end.

I also liked Western Digital hard drives, but when they stopped their hybrid drives, I went with a 3.5" Seagate FireCuda SSHD.

Benchmark Scores I have wrestled bandwidths, Tussled with voltages, Handcuffed Overclocks, Thrown Gigahertz in Jail
I am using an ID-Cooling SE-226-XT cooler for the 5700X3D and the temps are in the upper 40s to mid 50s most of the time.

nice! I've got a massive boost in perf with Tarkov... i mean some seriously unbelievable uplift over my previous gamers (7700K and 9700K). Its not just the FPS, as other games which are less cache sensitive don't see much difference in frame count but the game just feels so much more smoother (eg. Battlefield 2042).

Yep same here, some UV applied just for some efficiency and then the overkill Arctic 360mm rad but not without benefits; fan curve cranked down for whisper quiet gaming sessions
