yeah i really don't need it but before i waste another grand on a GPU i rather have a monster CPU

so far it is crazy fast! Tarkov is literally 100% faster than my 9900X

and it's still in the 70°C range in Cinebench on a NH U12S.

another quick test for potential readers:
BeamNG max settings with max car pool and simplified AI traffic disabled.
9900X: 40-60 FPS
9950X3D: ~150 FPS GPU limited.

I snagged an Optane P1600X 58GB "slightly used" from ebay for about $110. It only had about 200GB written and the Intel tool said it was at 100% health and up to date firmware.
After the 118GB version that was going for around $70 on Amazon some time ago disappeared I regretted not getting a few for my NAS boxes read/write cache since that capacity would have been good for that. I hope to get it installed this weekend in my Synology NAS.

Also recently snagged a new Optane 905P (960GB) on Amazon for around $350. Not a great price compared to the time the 1.5GB models were being sold for that on NewEgg but much cheaper than just about every offering right now for that capacity new or used. They sold out shortly after I posted it in Hot Deals.
