Assassin, does it have eSATA? Did not see that in the description on the Egg.

I would go with the best combo deal at the time. Right now there really isn't any of the 955 as the price just changed. But a few days ago there was some killer combo deals. Either way with the GD70, M4A79, GA-MA790FXT, or the Crosshair II, you really can't go wrong. I hear the M4A79 is the best, but wonder about the Crosshair. I still say the GD70 is the sexiest though.

I didn't say they meant the world, but the GD70 is sexy, and the GD70 is an amazing board, I don't think you caught that in the list of great boards I mentioned right before the end.

IMO these are the best combos that price the 955 @ 200

http://www.ewiz.com/combo.php?cat_id=328

Problem with those is they are almost worthless. like $13 off, it's better than nothing, but I'm betting newegg will have up better deals within the week, deals like the 945 has where you get $85 - $95 off and then another $30 in MIR's.

NewEgg had the MSI and the 955 for $314 IIRC. I was waiting on a payment to go into my paypal account and I was going to jump on it. I still had it in my cart when I tried to sign in, had to deal with some new image verification crap the Egg is trying out, and had to clear my cache to log in. Lost the combo, too. :(

I had the Crosshair in the comaprison, too, but saw it was missing something - now I can't remember what it was!
